Trump's retribution campaign continues, fires the archivist of the United States likely due to their involvement with the documents case.

We’ve been there. It’s a Smithsonian institution with some federal funding.

After the firing of the Archivist, I now expect the destruction of negative records about Fat Donny, perhaps like a book burning.

He'll put Erik in charge, and Erik will just use everything as a colouring book.

Any thoughts on how a trade war would affect auto prices? We’re looking at a Toyota RAV4 hybrid or the equivalent Lexus.

They’ll put a fence around that grave to avoid that rightful desecration.

Does he still have that Hollywood walk of fame star? There’s always that.

The auto industry would be hit pretty hard.

If there is one on the lot I would buy it now. Ordering one might turn into a drawn out gong show due to the extra paperwork of multiple tariffs.

My personal unbiased opinion.

This is not personally directed at you, at all.

So not that the threat is over, so we have abandoned the idea of buying Canadian?

RAV4 Hybrid is built/assembled in Canada. It's probably as Canadian as it gets when purchasing a vehicle. What would you suggest is a better Canadian alternative?

Our Honda CRV Hybrid was also assembled in Canada. There’s a significant wait for Toyota stuff which is why we went with Honda.

I guess they are also built in Kentucky. I would assume that most of them sold in Canada are from Ontario but funny things can happen when it comes to distribution of supply.

Trump is prioritizing refugee settlement for white farmers from South Africa, claims they are being discriminated against in SA. So refugees good I guess? Wonder what the distinction is for this group?

Not at all. The tariff threat is still hanging over us. Trump has proven that his government is untrustworthy, unreliable, not an honest partner, and his chief concern is winning, by making us and others lose. The extreme case meaning economic collapse so the US can take us over. As I type this, I realize how insane the suggestion even is that we should abandon the idea. We should be behind it more than ever.

Yet some people will argue with a straight face that this man is not a racist.
