I like that Ryu is still hitting 90 in the 5th

Do you let him pitch the 6th if he's under his pitch count?
I think yes.

It was a scary beginning but Ryu settled down nicely

I’d give him 90 pitches.

The Orioles are a really impressive team - I hoped that we’d be the team that did all of the little things right but they are that team.
They risk not fully capitalizing on their young players on cheap deal by not adding high end front of the rotation arms.

Wouldn’t be a bad game for Vlad to come through. Needs to start showing up vs the division. Gunnar has more homers than him with that one

That Henderson homerun had an XBA of 0.050 and would've only been a homerun in 6/30 ballparks. That is horribly unlucky for the Jays.

Richards uses his fastball as a changeup. It’s so weird…and effective.

All things considered, I thought it was a pretty decent return for Ryu.

And right off the top of the wall and out JUST fair. Talk about rub of the green or a lucky bounce off the net and in, to use golf & tennis speak.

Belt did something again. Nice. Now cash him in.

Damn it. Vladdy couldn't even advance Belt to 3rd there. This is what seperates us from them.

Vlad and George need to figure it out. Pathetic showings vs the division

Yep. Poor AB by Vlad and he couldn't, at the very least, advance the runner. Belt would've scored on that Springer ground ball too.

Now 0-for-13 with RISP in this series.
Tough to win games that way.

At what point do we consider Springer’s signing as a bust for the Jays? He’s making $22.5m and has been injured or pretty meh since signing. His defense in CF wasn’t good enough.
