Cold wind gusts trigger me, only smoke gives me more anxiety. Give me warm days, blue skies and the odd severe thunderstorm warning and buckets from those. That would make me a happy guy

It’s okay guys. When it’s 20 below in October we can get reminded how the cold is somehow better.

Same, it's getting irritating having to switch back and forth between AC and heat, doubly so when we're in the middle of June

I haven't even switched the AC breaker on yet. In fact, I just turned off the basement
in-floor heat Friday, which made it quite crisp watching that game last night down there.

Yet my grass that started to look ok last week, now looks like crap.

Don’t you guys just set your temperature range and let your heat and AC do their thing? I haven’t thought about house temperature since April maybe and probably won’t again until October.

Not with the in-floor in the basement. It would be a heating down there and cooling upstairs battle with me losing on the cost.

Our furnace uses a boiler coil, and we get some residual flow through it when the boiler is heating the water tank, so I close that loops valve when we switch to AC. If I don’t, we’re blowing cold air past warm furnace coils, so it’s annoying having to switch back and forth.

This has been an annoying spring. The worst part of all is the wind. Like fuuuuuuck off already.

Went camping to Porcupine Hills this weekend.

Saw snowflakes around 3AM today.

Brutally chilly with the wind from about 4 yesterday afternoon and right through this morning.

I went biking in West Bragg Saturday and it was a crisp 5C. Got the toes and forehead tingles like late fall.

Meah, it could be hot and smoke. I will take it.

Weekend weather wasn't great, but at least the forecast is looking up.

I have also been checking on the weather in Vegas because of the heat dome that is currently over it and I am really hoping that breaks soon. Planned on heading to Vegas for the draft and the prospect of 45C temps is starting to worry me.

The weather in this city has basically been hot garbage since March. Hopefully we get a few weeks of sustained nice weather in July and/or August. On the bright side my electricity usage is down with the AC barely being used so far in 2024.
