There were huge problems with production of that movie. It was edited multiple times with characters and storylines cut out entirely. Test screenings have also gone very poorly. The movie will be a massive failure, and may have trouble hitting 500 million.

Mackie is a fine actor and a cool guy, I met him in person once. I think he deserved a better treatment than this mess. It could very well be a one and done movie for him. It seems destined to fail.

I just read there are five colours of Hulk, seven if you count the She-Hulks.

What is this, Lantern Corps energy?

For whatever reason, coming up with good new characters, since the 90s, hasn't been possible so both DC and Marvel have just been recycling ideas. If you want new characters you're going to have to go with one of the independent publishers. The most you'll get out of DC/Marvel is a new person wearing an old characters costume/identity.

Money. Any writer or artist with a new idea will save it for their independent book with image or boom where they own the rights.

No one will give the big 2 their ideas for free anymore. They stay within the framework already established by the publisher and character.

That's definitely the reason why we have a dozen different variations of Spider-man, Venom and Hulk and all their villains.

The list old, child, female, evil, etc is growing for Deadpool, Wolverine, Iron man, and more all under the guise of the multiverse.

"Fans" blame the creators but it's all on Marvel and Disney for not wanting to share any revenue on their IPs.

Fair enough. It sounds like there were a lot of horror stories in the 90s of writers giving their ideas to DC/Marvel only to be slightly later shut out of the company and unable to take any of their ideas with them.

Robert Harris is one of my favourite authors so I hope this does the novel justice.

I know nothing of the book but will watch that just for Fiennes, Tucci and Lithgow. What a treat.

Wish I didn’t watch the final Deadpool trailer, it gives too much away compared to the previous ones.

Still better than the new Captain America trailer that gives the entire movie away.

I'm going to love this movie no matter what, and so much has been "spoiled" so far anyway.

I'll be wearing the white pants.

I think it looks interesting and I'm a huge fan of Liev Schreiber.

I heard he quit smoking weed. Thank god because I love Kevin Smith but he hasn’t made a good movie since Clerks 2, which is about the time he started smoking. But yeah this does look like it could be legit decent.

That looks like the most grounded movie Smith has done in 2 decades, it might actually be good
