Agreed completely. I do hope in the off-season they can look to sign an offender first OFer who can play average defence. Dalton has been good on D but a black hole on O. Can’t have that. As an OFer you need to be producing as you’re easily replaceable.

Jays yes have the pitching, however they don't have the offense.
team already acquired a rental with Hicks, Jays have several players who are likely to leave in the off season,
They have a limited window,
As for their depth, Jays don't have a strong prospect pool.

Depending how this week goes but I wonder if the Jays record against their division becomes a bigger story across the league. They're currently 7-21. They play 24 more against the division including tonight. What can we expect out of those 24 games? 4 Wins? It makes the math really hard for the Jays to make the playoffs unless they can find a way to get out their heads out of their asses. This is embarrassing.
