The fact the Jays traded for White should cost Atkins his job. He is terrible

Everyone said the same thing about Stripling when we first got him that were saying about White here. I don’t know about you but I’m kinda glad they didn’t kick Stripling to the curb. White pitched pretty well for the best team in baseball I’m not going to bail on him after 3 bad starts.

I still think Kikuchi is a better option than White going forward. He has high quality stuff. White is a low quality Max Castillo.

Really hurts continually having a #5 this season that actually hurts the team. It's too bad that spot couldn't have been solidified earlier this season.

I’m not saying White doesn’t have a place on the team but he shouldn’t be a starter. His fastball is terrible despite good velocity. It was getting hit at .475 clip since becoming a Jay. Hitters can hit fastballs at almost any velocity when they don’t move.

If his fastball stinks, he needs to develop really good secondary stuff or come out of the pen.

Yep and all of White, Kikuchi & Merryweather fall into this 'fastballs that don't move' category.
