If Brock Faber can make Bouchard look like that, what would the best players in the world do to him?

He is there. Standing in front of his own net. Hes not doing anything of any particular value or note, but his body exists in that space. Which is a start.
However it should be noted, both times they were promptly scored upon. But he tied Messier for goals for an Oiler or some such nonsense, so he's got that going for him...which is nice.

He probably got lost.

Like, how does that happen? How do you not get input from the coach who (should) know more about the position than anyone else in the organization? Oh that's right...

I can 100% confirm this is true. They also did the same thing when they signed Koskeinen (sp?). They told him to go do some work on finding some potential goalies, then went and signed Koskeinen without any input from Dustin at all.

Well, in fairness, the extent of goalie coaching in Edmonton is essentially..."Here is a jersey...good luck!"

Oilers fans conflating points and being good at hockey. Anyone who plays with McDavid gets insane point boosts. Where is Nurse now that he isn’t the #1 guy in town?? He wasn’t good to begin with but he has 7g 11a this year. Far cry from his 36p in 54g. There will always be some bozo who is lucky enough to pass the puck to McDavid before he bounces the puck of some other bozo’s butt and in. (Alex Chiasson, James Neal, Lucic, Yamamoto, Barrie, etc.) look at any oilers roster since he entered the league, McDavid and Drai have on average twice the points of the next guy on the team. E=nG

I'm not so sure I believe that report. I have a hard time believing that the Oilers are that valuable and I question their cherry-picking of comparables.
For instance, they reference Manchester United (spits on floor) but even as far as soccer goes United are not the most valuable or profitable club by a long, long ways. They sit around 10th, maybe up to 8th depending on which figures you use.
But even then, United's annual revenues are somewhere in the vicinity of ~€800M per year. There is no way the Oilers even sniff that.
And thats with a stadium thats 115 years old, sure its been renovated a few times but still, and they've been competitively dog-crap for over a decade.
At the end of the day though, value lays in the eye of the beholder. Is anyone going to pay $3B for the Edmonton Oilers? Not a snowball's chance in Hell. Will someone pay £5-7B for Manchester United? Probably. Maybe not currently, but I wouldnt consider it outside the realm of possibility.
For instance however, if Katz walked into a bank tomorrow and asked for a $3B loan or line of credit backed by the assets of the Edmonton Oilers, would it be approved? I think he gets laughed out of the building because everyone would know that the asset used as collateral cannot possibly cover that loan.
Ergo...that valuation is a Fantasy.

The video isn't about value, they acknowledge the Oilers are worth a fraction of those teams. They are arguing operating income, so how much profit Katz and co. make per year.
It's basically Oilers fans bragging that they get overcharged and are willing to overpay, and they are the best at making a billionaire even richer.

Fair enough.
But then you have to determine how 'operating income' is calculated. The Oilers get 41 home games a year, over-charge like hell for tickets and concessions, plus pre-season, plus playoffs, etc.
None of the other teams on that list have anywhere near that many home games a year. They have significantly higher attendance capacities for the home games that they do have, but there are fewer of them so its an unfair comparison.

What makes last night's spanking even funnier is that it came right after Staples' ridiculous "Oilers are back to being a powerhouse" article, lol.

Jarry gets pulled. Ingram gets pulled.
Oilers put Pickard on waivers.

The best ever McDrai stat line was 2022-03-26 when the Flames beat the grease 9-5. Draisaitl had 4 points and was -4. McD with 2 points and also -4. Good times…

Amusingly Oiler fans seem proud of this. Are they really that dumb? They should be furious, and demand lower pricing. Or I guess they are just happy to be first in something, even if that something is real ####ty?
What else might the Oilers be first in?
I welcome your ideas

Do they still sell Bobby Nicks burgers for $1000 or whatever?

I love how he just doesnt GAF and just heads for the safety of the bench.
If McDavid glares at boo-boo...does he see it twice?
