Seems close to average to me. Have you lived here before?

Yeah this is refreshingly normal feeling. I'm in heaven. Cool breeze through my window at night, too. The city looks beautiful. Some warm days. Some rainy days. Fricken perfect.

I find the news about record heat in India very unsettling.

Just as I posted pages back it was pretty evident that Calgary roads have degraded a lot over a short period of time.
Well it's nice and all that the city knew this was coming but would be a little better if they were more proactive rather than letting things get 3rd world bad before they decided to deal with it.

I was looking for that chart the other day. Shouldn't this post go in the Road Discussion thread? https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=184887

We get it, your the resident provocateur here on CP, I also assume you have a functioning brain. The fact that we as Calgarian's run their AC when its 21 degrees is the opposite of what I am complaining about. No functioning human requires AC for what is mild temperatures. It's a luxury, not a life saving requirement.
Literally billions of people of people on planet earth don't run AC in their home at those temperatures. So yes when Calgary in December has sunny and warm days at 14 degrees and more than 6 months later people have the heat on, take walks with jackets, hats and gloves on in the evening cause it's 11 degrees during the day. That's strange weather for a large city for a lot of people. We have wacky weather here in Calgary, it's ok to take the loss.
On a recent video Flames D Miromanov couldn't process how a city like Calgary is sunnier than the dessert of Las Vegas and be a winter city. He didn't believe his girl when she told him.
It's a weather thread, relax!

Ya, I am for real. I brought up a basic comment/complaint about Calgary's weather in late May being colder, the heat being on etc. Compared it to the chinook's of December. Very basic stuff. I am from here and I know this is normal for Calgary but it also kinda does suck.
Your a skier/boarder so perhaps you would understand the gear grinder for them. When tourists from all over the world show up at Louise or Sunshine and get crushed by our lovely -25 degree ski days, that does kinda suck for them. For you and I, it's normal.
If you went on a trip and got cooked by the heat which we all know you love, came to a weather thread and was told to shut up about the weather, you would be miffed too.

1. I know AC is a luxury. It was 25 in my house and I wanted my room to be cool so I turned on the AC for an hour.
2. Calgary does have wacky weather. But 12 degrees and rainy in May is not “flat out awful, like beyond a disaster.” It’s not even wacky. In San Francisco a double weeks ago it was 13 and rainy in May. That’s California. A place a lot more tourists go. We live in Calgary. The 14 in December is the outlier. Also, everyone had the heat on and wore jackets in December. Guess when people have the heat on and wear jackets in San Francisco? All the time. Sometimes even in August! People wear jackets! Spread the news!
3. Man, shut up.
