Looks like Sportsnet One is carrying Davis Cup tennis if the schedule is correct:

We're off and running with Shapo breaking Sonego to love in the opening game.
Edit: Followed up with a hold to love including a double net tape kiss that rolled over.

Really high level from both guys at the moment. Sonego is returning very well thus far.

Darn it, Shapo battled back from 5-1 down in the tie-break to get to 5-4 and promptly lost both points on his serve. Credit to Sonego though, he really continues to be all over the Shapo serve today. The good news is Denis is playing much better today than he did against Struff, just don't know if it will be enough.

Oh boy Dennis has 5 break points there and couldn't convert one to take the set

That is a big missed opportunity, Denis had five set points to take set 2 and couldn't cash in. We play on in set 2 at 5-5

Needed a return on the second serve at love-40 and just hit it out. The other four set points were Sonego just serving hammer blows for the most part.

Wow - From 5-2 down, Denis rips off five straight points and forces a 3rd set. Robert Bettauer on the hot mic with "Oh my god" before we go to commercial lol

Oh Denis, it didn't need to be that good, that's a tough miss at 30-40 on the Sonego serve.

Shapo had two break points in that opening game and couldn't cash in. Oh well, time to get right back to work.
Edit: Three double-faults in that Shapo service game and he finds a way to hold. Maybe that gets into Sonego's head?
Edit 2: Shapo got to love-30, but Sonego closed it out with some fine play.

Shapo makes things so hard on himself. He should be cruising this set.

Man, Sonego just continues to red line his shots and he's playing some great tennis.

Denis follows up an amazing passing shot with a double-fault. I mean, that's Shapo in a nutshell.

1 for 11 on break points is the defining stat thus far. Now 1 for 12. Sonego has been excellent on these break points though.
