I think the suspension was virtually required after the allegations. Canada is still conducting its investigation and may very well find that the allegations of the 12 members participating in the attacks is false. If that’s the case they may resume funding.

I think right now it would be irresponsible to pull all funding from the organization that has historically been the engine that provides healthcare and facilities other entities for aid such as water, food, medicine, etc. If funding is to be pulled it should be phased so that the Gazan refugees who need assistance can get it right now rather than die.

No I can’t. But then again, I don’t have access to all the information that they have.

With that being said, I think Canada should have cut funding before that information came out. Plenty of other reasons to cut funding.

I may just be naive, but if this is true, I’m not sure this is any further evidence of UNRWA’s ‘complicity’ with Hamas. If I’m Hamas, and I know that the UNRWA is sympathetic to us, it would make the most sense to build directly underneath without them being knowledgeable of that fact.
