This is so true. I don't like to post there often but an Oiler fan was saying Nurse is much better than Hamilton. I replied with a post showing stats and said I am pretty sure Hamilton is the better player. Deleted. That is what happens when every fan base has at least 10 moderators plus another 1000 other ones. It is just chaos. We are lucky to have the moderators we have here.

Yeah I laughed when somebody started a thread about Darryl Katz upping his creepy factor and a Mod jumped right in and ranted that the board wasn't mature enough to handle it and shut it down after about 10 pretty benign posts.

I flashed back to when the Oilers at their worst hired some public relations firm that went out to message boards like HF to pass on the message of the posititivty about the Oilers.

He's played himself to a huge raise, and with the current relationship between the NHL and the NHLPA there won't be any deals that are less then player value.

Even though he's not playing center, he's probably going to get center money. I look at him right now as more valuable then a guy like Stephen who's making 6.750. I look at a guy like O'reilly who just signed a 7.5 deal or a guy like Giroux who signed a 8.25 deal.

I'm thinking that he's going to hit the money load and get a 7.25 8 year offer.
