The parameters of what makes a Girlboss were clearly defined from the onset, injecting new definitions at this stage is deliberately obfuscating the discussion.

It's very common for terms to have multiple definitions, which is why I contextualized the term at the start. You're trying to pronounce yourself king of definitions and expect everyone else to defer your parameters.

Probably. I'm not particularly interested in religious interpretations of popular media.

I thought it was meant to be a term for the strong-willed authoritative, occasionally headstrong female character who "gets things done", as a trope... But I'm certainly not going to claim to be any sort of authority on the proper use of the term, I'm not sure when the last time was that I heard it used outside of this thread.

Adam Driver as Reed Richards rumours out there today. I don't normally care to comment on rumours or speculation, but this one intrigued me.

After Doctor Strange I figured Krasinski was a lock, and hadn't even considered other actors. Krasinski is...I dunno, more likeable? But Driver has terrific range.

Because I first started by talking about Mary Sue as a dog whistle, then it was bought up again and then I gave my definition as is mandated by the Divine Right of Kings.

Also I'm not sure I was 'losing' just because you don't agree with me. We're not scoring points, this isn't debate club. You're free to ignore me.

And no, I'm not, I believe what I say, and in fact I'm being far more considerate than many by not just outright dragging out name calling and drawing correlation to other adrenochrome misinformation in the venn diagram of Pop Culture YouTube media criticism and other such fronts of the Culture War

I'm not really interested in Watching How to Talk About Star Trek in a God Honoring Way myself.
