Webb had a terrible day, which happens pretty much every time he does a Spurs game, so I can't bemoan him for that
but all the managers do complain, and the only reason Harry probly escapes a fine is cause he is lined up to take over England in 2012 (a bunch of media I have read think that's the only reason he didn't get fined after the United game when he ripped clattenburg, which were more harsh than these ones)
I do think he is right about them just going through a rough patch in the league, which every team will do at some point, and they are missing their first four of the starting 11, the fans have nothing really to complain about at this point
and every time I even think I do I just picture Juande Ramos

Yeah, I love how much the English managers get away with.
Further, its not a 'Spurs' centric thing, Webb is just not a good referee.

I'm well aware. I'm also well aware that most of the game's Governing bodies feel that everything English is 'Elite' despite the English having Elitely accomplished nothing.
I also disagree with you and Fergie that the CL us superior to the World Cup in every way that matters. Thats total BS. I know its not related right now, but its from a ways back, just thought I'd mention it.

Locke I think that the opposite is true with both UEFA and FIFA. There is a massive anti-England bias, especially within Platini's UEFA. I remember how non-plussed he was when Chelsea played Manchester in Moscow in the CL final. He hated every minute of it. He's probably still sour over Heysel. This bias is so rife that I can almost guarantee that the 2016 World Cup is going to go to the Russians, even though it will be a shambles as Russians couldn't organize a p*ss up in a brewery. And the last big tournament they hosted in England - Euro '96 was a major financial success even though the final result was less than ideal for many reasons.
The Premiership is definitely considered to be an elite league but when it comes to internationals, those two governing bodies can't distance themselves from England fast enough.

ya, I agree with NBC
Platini hates England, the English, the FA etc. and FIFA doesn't like them much either
and I'm wondering what you think about the WC is better then the CL Locke? not that I am putting it down much it's a great tournament, but I am just wondering in what ways you find it better than the CL
for me its 3rd
CL
Euro's
WC

I still think the WC goes to England in 2018 just because its really the only viable option at this point and it would be stupid to turn it down, but FIFA will grin and bear it to do so.
And with the refs, I have no problem with them taking refs from only big football nations to tournaments but just that there has to be someone better than Howard Webb. I think it should only be refs from England, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil, US, Japan, Korea. I might be missing a few countries with big leagues (and I left out Italy on purpose because half those games are fixed). There is no reason refs who aren't used to going in front of thousands of people and putting them in to the biggest stage on the world and having them mess up (US group stage game comes to mind)

I'll get back to this later, keep me updated on the Manc game, I'm watching Liverpool.
Speaking of which, oh Nando, we've missed you. Liverpool up by 1 inside 7 minutes. Torres. The best!

Right 2018, my mistake.
I dunno Diane, my gut feeling is that it is going to the Russians. The outing of the crooked FIFA members hurt the bid, some say significantly. I think that it will be a real shambles in Russia, just like the CL final in Moscow where only corrupt gov't officials, thieving oligarchs and Soviet hard men could afford tickets and accommodation.

its incredibly boring
If I didn't have monetary interests on the game I would have all ready switched off
best chance has been Evra shooting from 40 yards out

From the synopsis that I read this may not have been the most boring game the Universe has ever known, but its moved into the same conversation as Cricket and Baseball.
Also, couldve used 2 more points there boys, but we'll have to settle for the draw away from home.
