HUT seems very cool. I got a bunch of good young players. If this were the real game, I would have stacked defense and goaltending. Kipper and Lou, with Del Zotto, Chara, Lidstrom, Subban, Karlsson, Alzner as my defense.

Offense was on the weak side but I had Taylor Hall.

Can't wait for the real thing to come out.

I'm downloading it now for the PS3 but have a quick question, is there any way to speed up the download time. I'm with Telus in Vancouver and it's saying it's going to take over 440 minutes to download. That seems a little too long of a download for me and not sure if my wifi signal will stay connected for that long.

A lot of the "go-to" moves in 2010 work in 2011. Which is good in a way.

Big fan so far. Physics seem great, control is better than ever, Ultimate team looks really fun.....AI is still lacking and I wish they would get some new post-game scenes, but aside from that, I like it.

Yeah, after you score you either hit A,B,X,Y (360) or you can ride your stick by holding the trigger, and then up on the right stick to fist bump. I think left trigger goes down with your hand, then back up for the Bork! fist pump.

Yes!

I have played a few games. So far, I love the feel of hitting in the game. It's not just the big jaw-dropping hits, but even just the ones where a guy gets stapled to the boards- the physicality is awesome!

The new faceoff system is neat, but I am having difficulties figuring out how getting my player to switch hands affects him. Tying a guy up is usually what has worked for me, though.

I have had some crazy (nearly impossible) goals by the CPU so far. One where a pass goes back to the blueline, bounces off a defender's skate into the air, and a forward bats it in with his back to the play! (disallowed on a high stick, but it's nuts anyway!)

Also, in my HUT game, the puck went off a skate and just floated into the net so slowly. It was like a pop fly in baseball, and Kipper missed it.

In terms of goalies, rebounds are more varied with the new puck physics. Very cool!

I like the possibilities in HUT, but my sample pack has no NHL centers. Not great for chemistry! I love tweaking things, and I cannot wait to play in that game mode!

Overall, I think with a little tweaking for the finished game, NHL 11 will be very satisfying!

i have enjoyed the demo. lots of cool new things. in my first game i was on the PP and had a goal called back because of a high stick. it was neat. the broken stick feature seems well implemented as i only have about 1 instance a game. i find that satisfactory.

i might have to take back some of what i said about eauhl. playing it in the demo is kinda fun building players. not sure how it will work when its fully featured, but fun now. i think the game recognized me. in my eauhl pack i got lidstrom, zetterberg, and the red wings away jersey!

my team is pretty stacked. on forward i have zetterberg, malkin, and backstrom as my big 3. i also have hall, eberle, boedker, and dupius for support. on D i have doughty, lidstrom, and keith. however in goal i suck as i only have cory schneider and andrej pavelec.

No. EAUHL is HUT. We are drowning in acronyms.

I have several broken sticks a period. Dobbles, you must not be hitting anyone!
