Good hockey intensity though in this game.

Get Nash the fata off the top line and put Iggy there with Crosby and Richards. Then we'll see some goals.

Both teams are IMO. Getzlaf ran interference atleast twice that period and the Americans did as well. I like how the refs are letting them play. Staal's was an obvious penalty.

Not sure what Marty is doing flopping around on some of these plays but he made up for it with 2 breakaway saves. I still think we come back to atleast send this to OT.............by chance if we don't we would pretty much have to win against a lower seeded team and then play Russia in the QF's.

OT: How was that Nash play not offside lol?

So stoked. Was nervous that Canada would come out strong and last due to their OT scare, should be wake up call, but the US beat them to just that.

I still just told my friend that I think it's going to be next goal wins.

Go USA!

Did they not show the Niedermeyer cheap shot replay on the Canadian network?

I don't think this is all his fault but Brodeur let in a couple of weak ones in the first. If USA wins I wouldn't mind seeing Luongo get the next start.

I actually think Nash has looked pretty good tonight, not sure what 3 Justin 3's complaints are.

He looks good on breakouts but isn't he a -3 tonight? He's useless in his own zone. Easily the most one-dimensional player on team Canada.

Guys...we're absolutely having our way with them with the exception of Miller.

Good playing by Miller, crap by Marty.

all 3 goals have been either directly (the 2nd) or caused by Brodeur either misplaying the puck, or attempting to play the puck and missing

not to mention he just does not look confident back there, every time the Americans take a shot it looks like he things its going in

I'm not going to take plus minus seriously on a night when our goalie is batting pucks into shots from the point and doing the breast stroke in his crease while trying to overplay the puck.
