This has been an awful match; especially by Siniakova. She's has had a billion break points, but only converted on two of them; both in this second set. I mean at least she's finally getting them now?

4/19 and 4/18 on break points.
Is this a record for break points in a three set match?

Just a terrible match from both players to be honest - Which is why we're deep into a 3rd set lol

John Isner against Kevin Anderson during the 2018 Wimbledon first round. This match featured a total of 49 break points

Laylah doesn't need to make any changes to her coaching. Has been working exceptionally well for her.

I guess the only bright spot is Leylah avoids getting destroyed by Mirra Andreeva.

This seems to be the least likely type of match to feature a lot of break points. I would have thought it would be more likely this match had zero BPs.

I'm not posting this to drag Erin, I can certainly understand the desire to play with one of your best friends. She had a great thing going with Gaby Dabrowski though and it just hasn't clicked with Asia Muhammad. Meanwhile, Gaby and her former/new partner Luisa Stefani are off to a great start in 2026 (currently sitting 2nd in the WTA doubles race).

International Women's Day has some fine matches at IW today:
Gauff vs. Eala
Raducanu vs. Anisimova
and the nightcap
Mboko vs. Kalinskaya

Learner Tien just sent an ailing Ben Shelton packing in three sets and we await Shapo vs. Sinner which should be on court shortly.

Shapo breaks at love to start the match - Two double-faults from Sinner in the opening game.
Edit: Sinner breaks right back also at love.

Stop me if you have heard this before - Denis double-faulting way too much.

Have to give Denis some credit, he's hanging in there versus Sinner, he could have thrown in the towel, but he's battling. He might still go down in straight sets, but he's going to make Jannik earn it.
Edit: Sinner just put his foot down and closed it out pretty quickly, oh well, tough draw for Shapo, two good wins in the desert though.

Winner of this match gets Fils, that won't be easy, but certainly do-able for either guy.

Felix must have watched Denis' serving earlier today and said "Hold my beer and watch this".

Is TSN showing Mboko, or will they switch to it when the boys are done?

They will switch over once the Orange Crush match is done and it has been a beauty thus far.

Who is the model for Diallo, super tall non-servebot baseliner? Cilic? Berdych?

Two excellent players, I would say he's closer to Cilic than Berdych, all he needs to do is clean up some of the unforced errors. Better mover than Cilic for sure. Also, he's playing much better tonight than he did at UBC last month.
