good luck to Slava and the Spurs fans on here. All of the trolls basking in our collective misery can go pound sand though, for your sakes I hope the game is crap and a waste of your time lol.
Just be thankful that Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton were complete ass this season otherwise Spurs and United would have been genuine relegation fodder.

Nah, if there was something that mattered both teams would’ve fielded fuller squads and made sure they were safe. The fact is, once they were safe it didn’t matter whether they finished 13th or 17th. They had to focus on the EL, and that’s all that mattered. I’m sure I posted this before, but when Spurs had their full backline they’re 15-3-2. I know no one thinks injuries matter and teams have to battle through, but obviously Spurs had their season derailed. I don’t think many teams could lose all the players we did and just ride through.

Of course that doesn’t matter for tomorrow, but I’m optimistic. I think tomorrow is huge and I’m super excited for this!

Oh sure...but I'd have loved to see United relegated in the same season Liverpool won the League.

Its sports!

Late entry for goal of the season, but a strong contender. Funny he couldn't score the penalty Saturday, but this might be more unstoppable.

sure, but we can't sugarcoat it too much either ... if not for the EL, how high could have Spurs or United finished in the PL? Maybe 11th or 12th? No matter how you slice it, and no matter how generous we are with excuses like injuries and so on, both clubs have played a truly pathetic season. One club will feel massive relief tonight, sure, but when you look at the bigger picture, both managers deserve to be fired.

I’m quite sure that Ange is done after this weekend regardless of the result today. You can’t lose 20 games in a season and keep your job!

While I agree, its really quite unfortunate.

The fact of the matter, in my eyes, is that United and Spurs made the same mistake.

They picked managers who want to play a particular style and then never supported those managers with players who could actually do it and then subsequently those teams got smoked.

Amorim only took over in November, so "they didn't support him" makes no sense. The one player they brought in in January, Dorgu, fits his style. Cunha, who's about to sign from Wolves, does too.

Sure it does. Bringing in a manager to play an entirely different style and bringing in 1 player?

Ange didn't even get that.

When you're desperate you bring in managers who can make bricks out of the clay they're given, not managers with a specific style who need specific players.

All I'm saying is that I dont Ange or Ammo really got much of a fair shot.

all I'm saying is that Amorim, in terms of transfers, just had one January, and we both know January is not the time to buy. He'll be backed with "his" type of players this summer.

I know. Which is exactly what I'm saying.

Ange got more time and less help which is why I dont think Amorim is in danger regardless of today's outcome.

Now...let El Crapico begin!

Hey! Onana got the ball! I mean...it was behind the goal line at the time, but he still got it!

It's OK Locke, I know that you're cheering for Spurs today, because there's no possible way you're hoping for United!

Congrats to the Spurs fans. How can you sack a manager that led you to the Champions League?

Spurs win Europa & Oilers win the Cup could be the worst Sports year in history.
Congrats to Slava and co though. I don't hate you, just your choices.
