I’m well aware of what happened and yes it is a horrible break. Seems to me the odds of an injury in that kind of play are longer than automatically giving Texas the ball back and they get the benefit of a PI call or something like that.

LOL
I said it is great to see Washington win, how is that negative?
The coach nearly cost his team the game what description would you like to use to describe it? It happens all the time in football, these coaches have shown they don't understand clock management and with the money they are paid and the money the spend overall it is inexcusable that they are making these choices and/or not hiring someone to advise them on it.
If they can't defend an 80 yard field for 15 seconds they have major issues and probably shouldn't be in the NC game.

Huge win for Michigan, I still can’t believe it happened. I’ve been conditioned to expect a comical series of misfortunes to befall us during the title game but for now wheeeeee!
We played Penix at Indiana for sixteen years so at least we’re familiar with his game.

The injury gave the Longhorns about 5 more plays. I really don’t understand why the clock wouldn’t start at the referee’s whistle after the injury.

I don't know why they would hand it off the RB with a foot problem. Penix should have just kept the ball and ran himself.
I was crapping myself as my $550 parlay depended on Washington winning! lol.

National title game is going to be tough for Michigan. Washington is like a good Ohio State, we’ve always had problems with pass happy offences and a mobile QB. The plus side is Michigan has already played Penix many times from his 17 seasons at Indiana.

Should be a great game. I wasn't sold on Michigan this year, I had not watched them much and they had a pretty soft schedule but their defence looks scary good. Penix was lights out against Texas as he has been all year and the Husky defence also looks pretty solid.
I was shocked by Washington's play calling at the end after what happened to Miami earlier this year but in hindsight I'm not sure what the right call would be. On one hand you risk fumbles and injury (which happened albeit to an already injured player) but running plays but it will take slightly more time off the clock and one first down would seal everything. On the other hand a kneel down is safer but does leave a little more time on the clock. Given they seemed committed to running a few plays it may have made more sense to give the ball to their running back than have Penix keep it and risk injury too. Still it seemed truly bizarre they would have done anything but kneel.

Probably won't be as bad a massacre as last year, but this is gonna be a blowout. Michigan just physically superior by a fair margin.

Probably not good to keep giving up 40 yard runs where you never touch the guy

Yeah #### Georgia for losing, Georgia-Michigan would have been a good one. Oh well, fitting end to the Pac 12 to go out with one more embarrassing defensive performance.

Even though Washington have been horrible if they can get a TD on this drive, get the 2nd half kickoff, who knows?

Well it's kinda interesting at least. Still feels like if Michigan just stick to the 2019 49ers NFC Championship Game script and not have McCarthy even throw another pass they'll be fine, but if Washington can tie it or even take the lead maybe Michigan chokes it away.

Michigan and that idiotic decision to go for it throwing on 4th when you’d done nothing but run to that point handed this game back to Washington on a platter. Ugh

Well it hasn't been a particularly well played game, but it's a one score game into the fourth which certainly didn't seem likely at the end of the first.

Washington lost this game with bad throws, dropped passes and penalties. The game was theirs for the taking after a poor start.

The holding call on Washington was pretty dubious when it was a one score game, negating a 32 yard gain.
