Florida definitely seems to have that lightning in a bottle thing happening, and are starting to feel like a team of destiny this year. Confidence is a hell of a drug, and I’m not sure if any of the remaining teams can beat them right now.
Oh, I have no doubt Carolina can. Anyway, they have something going, which is good but momentum and running on adrenaline can only swing so long. Carolina is a better overall team, as can be the case for Vegas. Leafs outplayed them and lost tonight because of terrible luck. I'm not convinced Florida has it just because they're up 2-0.

Florida picked the right time of the playoffs to go an a roll. Boston had em on the ropes and down for the count and yet they let the Panthers get up and the rest is history. I wonder if the fake rats being thrown on the ice are next,

Okay, so the Leafs just lost twice at home. Are they doubly ####ed now?
Listen, I know that the first 10 minutes of that game should have had the Leafs up 3-0, but Bob kept it within reach, and the team responded. They aren't going to shy away from the fight. They've been through it now with that Boston series, and I think they believe that they can beat anyone now, even when things aren't going well.
In short? Belief can overcome a lot of inadequacies.

I don't know if Bennett does this stuff intentionally but he's definitely careless of the consequences to the other guy. I like his hands around the net but he's negligent at best when it comes to injuring guys.
Him and thackuk want to win. That's why they aren't Flames anymore. Wish the weak teammates, fans and management thought differently about them. Maybe they would still be in the Flaming C.

Don't know about this, they are being outplayed nearly every game...is Bob really gonna stand on his head for another two and a half rounds?
Just finished watching, wow what a game by the Panthers. I don't agree with the defensive mindset Maurice goes for in the third but Bob is hot so I guess it works. Heavily backfired in the regular season because they weren't getting the goaltending they are getting now. But series is far from over, interesting to see them on home ice which hasn't been good.
Ahh this feels much more like a typical Leafs playoff series now. It's nice to have things back to normal.
Let a complete stinker of a goal in √
Marner with a brain-dead drop pass √
Outplay your opponent handily but hit posts/get goalied √
Series is not over though. Panthers beat the Bruins 3 straight. If they can do it to the B's Toronto could pull off a similar miracle against the Cats.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Leafs take both away games and make it a best of three. They seem to play better away from Toronto.
True, the Panthers haven't been good on home ice. But Bob seems to playing really well right now. I think they need the extra day rest really bad right now, so many games in a short while so the advantage is Florida at this points.
Not to be a kill joy but I am a friend of Benjamin and don't know if thus song is appropriate in this context as it's a song about the bands friend that came with them and to vancouver while they recorded this album but disappeared 8nto the east hastings life style never to be seen again.
Again get what your going for but the song is not really applicable here as it's a guy that got sucked into heroine and never ever seen again.
