This is shaping up to be a fantastic final round and it looks like the top ten are going to be battling hard for the win. Also it looks like Rory is slowing sliding down the leaderboard board which makes me happy.

Taylor now solo lead.

Seems rare for pros to follow up a super low round with another one. Hope he pulls it off.

Love all the corny canadian stuff at this open every year. "And Taylor can really take the moose by the horns here".

Feels like a playoff today. Probably three guys.

Taylor set the mark. Let's see what Fleetwood and Pan can do now.

Don't see Pan getting there, Fleetwood probably.

Fleetwood needs to get into major trouble on 18 as he just nailed his approach on 17. Doesn't look good for Taylor.

The way Nantz is trying to make this out to be the greatest day in Canadian Sports history would make Fleetwood winning a little easier to take. With apologies to Taylor who had done nothing wrong.

Crap, that's probably it for Taylor after Fleetwood sets up a tap in birdie at 17. Will just need a birdie on the easy 18 par 5.

I am enjoying it but Nantz over the top commentary is always too much for me.

Edit: I actually like it for the Masters, I think it fits with the tournament but when he brings it to the regular events I find it a little much.

Someone should have Nancy Kerrigan'd Fleetwood on the way to 18 tee.

Yeah but I disagree in this case. In the golf world it's not a story of the year or anything, but to Canadians it actually is a massive story to have a Canuck potentially win the Canadian Open. And that's what nantz has been speaking to. It's a wonderful day and tournament.

I disagree but I know many Canadians overrate non-hockey achievements which is annoying.

Either way I am happy for Taylor to win, just don't think it is the Canadian sports moment that Nantz is trying to make it out to be.

He may have done it to himself with that tee shot.

This is Fleetwoods to lose. Even with that poor tee shot it should be an easy birdie.

Had an easy win and now has made it so much harder than it needed to be, crazy.
