This faux outrage and conflict creation will go on for quite a while. We’re all so used to fighting about everything that stupid crap like arguing what “from scratch”means feels normal. Arguing about pointless semantics for the sake of argument is not normal. Hopefully a bit of this wears off before too long because lord is it tiresome.
The Faux outrage has been going on for a lot longer and have little to do with Trump, the thing that was unique to Trump was using the faux outrage to minimize real outrage. (Have you ever seen a half-black man wear a tan suit after labour day? do you know how uncouth that is?).
I think we all knew it was coming, but I think it will be really easy to underestimate the damage these "articles of impeachment" today will be to American society, it's on a scale similar to Trump and McConnel destruction of American institutions. I think we can pretty much except that every single democratic president will have articles filed against them within the first week going forward. Combined with the history of Trumps presidency it will create a permission structure for Republican presidents to do impeachable things without fear of recourse, as the entire institution of filing articles of impeachment is being demeaned to the point of meaninglessness. Honestly this just makes it more important that Trump is convicted, but I don't know if that will happen.
I think people kind of misunderstood what I was trying to say and that's probably on me for not communicating it properly. What I meant was that I'm hoping that the same people who fact-checked Trump do the same for Biden so I don't have to sift through the garbage that right-wing hacks spit out to find reporting on when Biden is actually full of crap.
All in all I'm pretty happy with what Biden has done so far. There are a couple of things that concern me, particularly his SoS nominee already sabre-rattling with Venezuela, but it's been a better start than I expected.
I didn't misunderstand you, you're going to have to sift through right wing hacks.

Here's a fascinating video of a focus group of 12 Trumpists 36 hours before the inauguration. I honestly don't know how an entire populace can be de-programmed or develop some sort of media literacy.

Here's the problem, that we all see coming though.
We know that in about a week we are going to start seeing a wave of people coomplaining that Biden isn't being fact checked like Trump was.
"Where are the daily lists of things he lied about, or got wrong"
And we all know this is going to be a totally bad faith argument because Biden isn't going to lie at an unbelievable rate.
It'll be like if my neighbor starts getting made at me for not picking up my dog's ****.
How does this make sense? I don't have a freaking dog.
So yea, we aren't seeing anyone really call out Biden for saying "From scratch".
Is that something so egregious that we need to start screaming about dog poop, or is it maybe the kind of hyperbole, or turn of phrase that we all use, and might just be acceptable.
Let's save the outrage for when people neglect to call out Biden for telling us to freebase Tide Pods, or starts hitting double ridiculous lies per day.
I know the point you're making is that you hope that it isn't just right wingers that call him out on things, but let's be honest, the right wingers are gonna call him out on lot of things that don't really matter, so it's gonna look like the left isn't fact checking him.

Honestly, the Bernie folks will do plenty of calling out of Biden. It's their favourite thing. Rising's already on it. You won't need to go on any forays into crazytown for that (well, not right wing crazytown, anyway).

So I was using the "from scratch" tweet as an example of the hyperbole from the right that I'm worried I'm going to have to sift through to actually get to substantive fact-checking for Biden and I'm hoping that's not the case.
My point wasn't that the "from scratch" comment was bad, just that it was something the right immediately latched onto and I'd rather ignore that noise if at all possible. If I can count on Daniel Dale, Aaron Rupar, etc., to continue to do their due diligence with this administration than I can largely ignore the usual nonsense from American conservatives.
EDIT: Corsi brings up a good point regarding Rising. And while I do enjoy the guests they have on, Krystal and Saagar can get a little grating at times even when I agree with them.
The "from scratch" comment is not that far off. There really has been no federal leadership on this issue. Fauci can say all he wants, but the reality is the states are not being granted the vaccine they need, the logistic support they need, nor the planning or manpower to undertake such a task. My municipality is asking for volunteers to help distribute the vaccine, and in return you get to hop the queue to receive a vaccine. Does that sound like a reasonable approach to handling a federal healthcare crisis? But that is the current state of things because there has been no plan and no support provided in any way. So the Biden Admin really is working from scratch to develop a plan to distribute vaccine and get it into people's arms in as timely a fashion as possible. It has been a total #### show up to this point.

K Pop stans are a different breed. As much as I hate seeing every post being nothing but K Pop Tik Toks, I respect the hustle.
Reading your post instantly made me think of /r/brandnewsentence.

2 questions:
1) Where do you live?
2) When is the next flight?
