I wouldn't call the Senators' one a "leak" since it's just the same thing they wore in their outdoor game last season.

I never quite understood why the league changed their “NHL shield” from orange to silver. What made it even more bothersome is when they flipped the direction “NHL” was written on the shield.

It happened after the 04-05 lockout.
I remember getting a survey way back then from I guess the league's research dept, some mass email out, showing the logo and asking my opinion .. my replies probably indicated a shoulder shrug and whatever
