Seems early for Foudy but he had a strong finish this year.
Foudy started the year on the 3rd and 4th line as the Knights were loaded up front but forgot how to play D and their starting goalie sucked. They traded away a bunch of F after getting a goalie, Foudy moved up and took off after the deadline.
Sitting back and looking at this it’s hard not to look at the 17/18 season as one of the biggest failures in Flames history.
A good whack of these teams were already better than the Flames, and here they are adding to their futures, while the Flames sit and watch. It’s a bummer as a fan.
Thank GG

The presentation on Sportsnet sucks, does not show the best ranked players available or where the guy who was drafted was ranked. And should have Friedman as one of the main analysts

Seriously?
The flames have a good young core and very good prospects. They had a #### coaching staff that ran a good roster into the ground.
All of the flames rivals think they have a good young roster. Lots would trade with the flames. Tre screwed up the first coach hire, let's hope he corrected his mistake.

The 17/18 is definitely one of the biggest failures in franchise history. I didn’t say the team is complete rubbish or anything, but last season was a gigantic failure and sidestep for the organization.
Firing Gully was a good first step, but it doesn’t erase the calamity that was 17/18.

Teams trade 1st round picks for players and the other teams draft players with those picks.
Its hilarious how everyone is looking at comparables and thinking we are missing out on superstars... chill out everyone, very few of these guys will become superstars.
Remember when we had lots of picks and took Poirier and Klimchuk...yeah, didn't pan out.
