The Flames make these mistakes consistently. Why are the coaches not addressing it?

9ne of those team's has an elite coach who puts players in a position to succeed. The other has a coach who will never admit he is wrong about player assignments and the system he employs.

He's on pace to miss the playoffs for his 3rd time in 4 years as a head coach. But hey, he's not the problem, he just gets bad teams.

Jiri - with how things have gone, what do you do? Trade half the roster, or fire the coach?

The team needs some plan of action to correct what's wrong. It looks culture based and systematic, two things that a coach has a HUGE influence on. There have also been incredibly bizarre line-up decisions all season long.

What do you do if you don't remove the coach?

Wasn't Brodie really good while playing under Hartley? I recall a lot of excitement those years. I really think that the team pkay has regressed under Gulutzan despite some really strong individual efforts and stats by some players.

Sadly, as much as an optimist as I try to be, the team is hitting skids at the worst possible time. Combination of injuries, poor coaching, and nerves are getting to this team. Sucks as I had big hopes this year.

We had lots of shots in the first but we didn't really threaten.
Sutter commented on that in the forst intermission. Shots? Sure, but this was a pathetic showing for a team in a playoff fight. This team has no pulse.

Do people on here seriously think that getting a new coach is the answer? These losers can't play for anyone! We actually look more pathetic than the losers up north. At least they have one player - we seem to have no one to pin our hopes to. And as much as I love Tkachuk, he's never gonna lead the league in scoring.
