####ing hope so. What does that ref learn from watching the replay of that exchange? Other than he is incompetent and directly impacted the game as a result of that incompetence. So bad.

There is no accountability. I actually went to a sports thing here last year and Kerry Fraser was there and we had a good conversation about it. He agreed that officiating was not good in the NHL and he would not be surprised if the officials actually were leaning hard on Calgary after the Wideman incident. He also said officials don't like their work questioned so the fact the Flames complained to the NHL about it probably made things worse. That being said they are bad in every game, they almost dictate how games will turn out. I believe there is a head of officiating but I am positive that person is either an ex official or someone tied into the NHL. They need an outside party to do that job but the NHL is an old boys club and that will never happen. We have already seen the corruption when it comes to things like this with the whole Campbell/Savard thing. It will never change.

I remember that like it was yesterday. I think the Nystrom, Sjostrom line was ripping it up and then he inexplicably broke it up around the same time and we fell off.

I'd chalk up two goals against in the past 3 games to crappy phantom calls. Hopefully the officials don't help take any more points from us tonight...

Christ, the hate for Cassie Campbell is real amongst you boys. I’ve actually enjoyed her commentary. Why don’t you just open your mind a bit, change is ok.

I've liked Jankowski but he's gotta make something happen. Get a shot, try a move, create a quality scoring chance

GG giving the fans what they want.... more Stajan. Forget Janko's home debut. Since when does the 3rd line need training wheels.

I'm by no means Dwayne the rock Johnson but Roger Millions sitting on a stool is just a car crash.

I've liked the team D tonight, it's tighter. I've liked the defence joining the play, especially Brodie (and that doesn't happen without Hamonic).
Win a period, win the game.

Bennett has 6 minutes of ice time. Glass has 8. How can they even create anything when all they get is a few shifts a period?

Dammit, I'm agreeing with Francis all over the place. The Flames better start winning again soon so I can go back to trashing his contrarian and pessimistic viewpoints.

GG: hey janko, your parents came from Ontario to watch? That's great. Here's two minutes a period, show em what you're made of champ.

Last year he played Tkachuk and Bennett full time.

I guess I’m inthe minority but jankowski has looked very pedestrian in all games he has played. He hasn’t earned more ice and will be going back down as soon as jagr (who i ran into at the bank today, is ready to go. In fact, I think it could be befor that.
And I was on the bring him up team. He’s not ready IMO

For any bourbon drinkers out there, this stuff is liquid gold. Enjoying a straight glass at the moment to ease the pain of the officials/lackluster play.
