So the Refs weren't content in just giving us penalties, now they've resorted to 5 minute majors, double minors and two man advantages. I guess this answers the question of whether or not they'll move their bias on to the Ducks.

I sure hope you're right. I really don't want to be shutout by the Canucks. Shutout... Shutout.

Interesting stat. Entering tonight the Flames lead the NHL in minor penalties at 243.
By my count 5 minor penalties tonight. Up to 248.
Anaheim in 2nd at 231. They didn't play tonight.
Flames have 17 more minor penalties against than the 2nd place Ducks.
2nd (Ducks) to 13th (Stars) seperated by 19 minors.
F*** off NHL about the fact Wideman incident playing no factor in how they are calling Flames games. Flames were the least penalized team before that incident and now they are 1st by a landslide with virtually the same team.

Ferland has been invisible tonight - he really doesn't seem to thrive away from the 4th line unfortunately

I'm amazed the players haven't lost their crap more on the refs at this point. I'm just watching this season getting more and more frustrated. I can't imagine how the players feel t this point

If we are going to be the most penalized team in the league we should make it worth it. Keep the 2 top lines then load up on big nasty mofos for the bottom 2.

I predict the Flames will try hard to push in the 3rd, but will fall short as they play half the period short handed.
