IMO they would just score it as heat of the moment. I would assume Henry would have no illwill to the TSN panel after his playing days are done.
I think you're right, lest we forget, Milt Stegall (current member of the TSN panel) has been known to have some heated exchanges with reporters (about 50 seconds in).
Every team in the CFL does the exact same thing (unless they are on a shoestring budget). Have guys who hang around waiting for a spot on the PR or active roster. Get paid *under the table*. Would be naive to think otherwise that this doesn't happen.

Same old BSfrom Rider fans. "Every team does it". Really? How come every other team isn't consistently in the headlines for negative reasons? How come every other team doesn't routinely go over the salary cap?
Rider always were a shady organization and with the addition of the biggest d-bag of them all (Chris Jones) they've keep moving further down the shady pendulum.

If these guys are practicing or at the team facility without a contract then the league should hammer them, you can't do that.
I just think it is hilarious Mitchell is the one fighting this fight. Shouldn't it be Hufnagel bringing it up if they think there is a problem? Maybe that's just me

Not that any more gas has to be poured on the intense rivalry between these two teams, but Bo has certainly stoked things up for Saturday's game. Maybe Jon Cornish can make a special appearance on the sidelines in the Stamps last game at Mosaic Stadium, I'm sure Rider fans would love to see Jon (lol).

I'm not even sure I understand the point of his accusation. So he's heard that these guys were already in town? So what?
As MASH mentioned, this would only be against the rules if they were getting paid under the table and/or working out with the team.
However it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if guys who thought they had a chance if injuries came up were encouraged by the team to stay close, just in case.

In another tweet he said "League doesn't look bad, the team housing xtra players, doing xtra practices and xtra meetings in last looks bad. The end 19"
I would guess he is saying they are not just bending the rules, but full on breaking them.

Considering how close the team is covered, I would be absolutely amazed if they somehow pulled that off.

It's a league wide conspiracy, don't you know that?
I think everyone agrees that if they are breaking the rules they should and will be punished. If they aren't breaking the rules I would imagine Mitchell could be facing a fine?

I'm sure he's not worried about the $100-$500 dollar fine he could be hit with for speaking up about what everyone else is already thinking.
CFL is a pretty small community. If Bo said that (a guy who never really rocks the boat) he probably has a good authority that it's happening, if not directly from one of the player's mouths that are a part of this.
Gary Lawless says it's time for the commissioner to look into things in Regina...
I’m not here to say Jones is a cheater. I don’t know that to be true. What we all know is there have been very public allegations. It may turn out that there’s nothing to this and it won’t look bad on Jones and the Riders. But that’s tomorrow. The reality is these accusations look bad on the league. True or not, Orridge needs to quell them.
Scott Mitchell✔ @ScottMitchellPM Per sources, #Riders essentially have an extra roster of guys in the city, some being paid. They’ve called it the "pre-practice squad." #CFL
Where there's smoke there is fire I would imagine.
I highly doubt BLM would take to twitter with these accusations if they weren't true.
Regardless of whether it is true, that is the dumbest rationalization I have ever heard.
"Well some Tweeted it!! That means it has to be true!"
That being said, I wouldn't be terribly shocked if this were true. This has been going on for years in the CFL and Jones really strikes me as a win at all costs kind of guy.

Bo makes unfounded accusation. Media starts firestorm. Media starts demanding league look into it to avoid embarrassment. League officially launches investigation thereby "confirming" media suspicions.
It comes full circle and is a self fulfilling prophecy.
