Okay Predators. No more penalties please.

Losing faceoffs, icing the puck, taking a ton of penalties. Damn it's like watching the flames

Started drinking some water, saw the Getzlaf "high Stick".

Now I need more water, and a new monitor

Yeah, I'd say there's seems to be more people online that can't stand him than those that love him. Those that fall in the middle probably don't speak up.

Even here the small sample size in this thread seem to agree he's pretty rough to listen to.

Fair enough.

I just think the whole lot of em get WAY to much grief for a job that so few can even do. So i like to defer to those that do the job as to who among them does it best...and Emrick is right at the top of those lists.

That being said...Hayward and Ayhelers (sp) are just awful but they have been that way for years.

That's true, extremes opinions are generally the only ones you hear.

I appreciate his knowledge, experience, and general professionalism. Still can't stand listening to his speaking / screaming voice, which is pretty fundamental to someone who works play-by-play.

That's definitely true. Nobody can please everybody in the business.

Well they got the high sticking call and they never called the Getzlaf dive, so they are getting some breaks.

A 100 mph slapshot needs to deflect off the faces of Kesler, Bieksa, Perry, and Getzlaf all in one sequence.
