Pens have all kinds of momentum now. Just need to weather the storm for the rest of the period, and then regroup for a big 3rd.

That goal seems to have deflated them a bit. They need to shake it off and get back at it.

That's why the center ice drop pass has become so popular in the NHL. It freezes penalty killers who try to change direction, but then quickly need to change direction again.
WHen done right, that center ice drop pass can be very effective. Which it was on that goal.

Fluery is having one of his best years. Not quite comparable to Ramo unfortunately.

Wideman cheated to the middle too much for my liking.
I was all pro-Wideman but he has been utter rubbish of late.

He didn't make a save on the first goal or third goal. Both of those he probably should save.

I'm just saying that unless the Goalie has no chance at all, he's good save some of them. Always allowing 2 goals per 15 shots gets old

He's made some nice saves, but he's also let four goals in. Not sure he's having his best game.

Agree here. While I don't hate the goal, the above average goaltender will make that save more often than not. I don't think I've seen a similar save from the Flames goalies all year. They have all gone in.

Good. Ramo needed those two last stops to get his mojo back.
