And, FWIW, I saw plenty of young kids on 17th Ave while driving back from Game 4. They of course, would think that it's just fine to have guys chanting at women. Right.
Crawl back under the rock, and re-emerge when you've grown up.

This response seems out of place with what you're responding to.

Kris Russell's twin brother is named Ryan Russell. But i think it would be funny if he was Chris Russell.

When it comes to the Red Mile, NO ONE should be harassed. Period. (Heckling Canuck fans is not harassment).
Everyone do their part and remind your neighbor not to be a D-bag and not to harass girls to show their boobs.
Girls - Don't show your boobs. Show some class instead.

He should grow up because he's against harassment and thinks women should have the right to be/feel safe?
Maybe you should reread the post and grow up after

I've been abused on the red mile as well, there are some real pieces of poop that hang out there just looking for trouble. Really not surprised women don't feel safe

Looks like the Vancouver social media is starting to grasp at straws over this. Like this never happened in Vancouver during their cup run right?

Having not been down there at all this year, is it actually that bad? Or is it just a select few group of a-holes being a-holes? Based on just reading articles I sure get a sense of the media making it a bigger problem than it really has been, but again, I haven't been there.

Sorry - apologies if I misunderstood - you started with the comment "what's the big deal about tits anyways? I don't see what's so offensive about topless women in public. "
I guess I read this simply in the context of the Red Mile - where often enough it can be offensive, difficult and challenging for other women.
Boobs, in and of themselves, are fine - breast feeding, and (apparently in Ontario) walking down a street, at least since Gwen Jacobs. No issue with that.
(Maybe proof once again - as if we need it - that words on a page do not always accurately convey the entire meaning or the intention of the author and the reader can easily misinterpret!)

Every step in the positive direction is a right step.
Next time one of your mates starts an ugly chant like this or takes his business over the line, tell him it's not okay. Apologize for the behaviour and move on, then make sure you and your crew never do it again.
This is what makes the world a better place.
