You know something I would gain a whole ton of respect for a coach that looks at someone like Brad Richardson's actions and says, "You're done, take off your gear and go home, you embarressed me and the franchise"
But it won't happen, Desjardin probably high fived him and complemented him on how he beat the crap out of a guy that's had two fights in his career, and then said his elbow was awesome sauce"
I hope that Calgary becomes hell town for the Canucks. But at least we won't pick fights with Canuck fans.

Not to mention, aren't we unable to recall him until the AHL season is over? I don't think it's possible, even if it wasn't a terrible idea.

They can recall him all they want. I believe he has to go through re-entry waivers but hey... is that so bad?
And I'm not suggesting him as ANOTHER 3 minute player on the bench...

I kinda like the idea of McGrattan coming in and doing some dramatic bench staredown thing, but he can't actually be on the ice during play.
And really, the Flames have the clear advantage in tough-guyness in this series. Dorsett, their "tough guy" got his ass handed to him so bad that he needed help, and even that didn't work.
Damn I love the playoffs.

Last time we got into a muck up with Vancouver.. well we all know what happens. Calgary pulls together for each other. Vancouver? hahaha... Bieksa went to the Stanley Cup finals with Mason Raymond and is now taking a shot across the bow.
Keep 'em coming Kevin, ya dumb dumb! Please!

The whole "legend of Eddie Lack is growing" comments were pretty embarrassing on Hughson's part. What legend? The guy won 1 playoff game. Um, how many other goalies have won playoff games? Are they all legends? Try to show a little professionalism there Jimmy.

Dorsett you wanna be tough guy.
Hamhuis you're nothing but a plug. Gio should have been on team Canada.
Bieksa acts like he's all righteous but he's one of the biggest rats in the league.
And the Sedins...the Sedins can go back to shaving each others beard to be exactly the same. Weirdos

Its sad that the NHL can still field such an unprofessional product from not only the officiating and player antic standpoint, but also from the broadcasting perspective. An NHL fan in 2015 shouldn't have to witness the sh*t we witnessed tonight and it's f***ing pathetic.

I'd like to see Ramo go on one of his streaks and take over the net. with favorable matchups the top line will get its legs the next two games. if not then sprinkle them down the lines and see which one catches fire.

Yeah, back to Engelland, absolute stud to take on two at once.
See what comes of things in the morning, but good to see Treliving fired up, and Burke sitting there, seething. I hope he breaks his silence some point this series. Team is fired up, hopefully whatever is bothering (seemingly) Hudler and Monahan is done by Sunday.

Pretty sure Treliving was yelling over the 2nd man in incident, and the fact it looks like Engllend is getting the additional misconducts makes that absolutely mind boggling. It's unbelievable they aren't getting called on that, and then taking it one further and hitting Engllend with multiple misconducts.

Wouldn't mind seeing McGrattan and/or David Wolf after that shambles. Punk Canucks running our young players is not something I take kindly to.
The officials disgusted me in the brawl. They made sure our 2 toughest players were tied up while Matt Stajan was getting choked and pounded on his back by Richardson & Engelland was being mauled by 2 Canucks.
How is that acceptable? Were they worried Vancouver would riot if they lost that brawl?

It pisses me off because the Canucks have always been like this and karma has f***** them once and it'll f*** em again, Canucks will never win a cup.
