Milos only faces two break points all match but Simon breaks both times and wins 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. Serve appears to be pretty strong so that's good, another couple matches can hopefully get him back into gear overall.

The good news is that he appears to be fully recovered from his foot surgery (I thought Milos was moving quite well). Simon made some dandy shots under pressure, it was a close, tight match.

Genie wins? Genie wins! Draw does her no favours as Madison Keys could be next, but who knows how much better she'll play now that she's got some positive vibes going. Obviously needed something good going into Wimbledon.

Conspiracy theory - Genie has taken a year off from tennis, and her twin sister has taken her place.

Milos seeded 7th for Wimbledon, Genie 12th. Without a decent run Genie likely falls into the 20's after Wimbledon. Milos unlikely to draw Wawrinka in the quarters so he's likely getting Murray, Djokovic or Federer which is obviously pretty brutal but a QF appearance would be solid coming off the injury layoff.

Nadal is ranked 10th. That looks strange.

Well Milos does indeed draw himself in Wawrinka's quarter which is a great break for him. Unfortunately his section is pretty tough before then as he possibly gets Kyrgios in the 3rd round and Dimitrov in the 4th round.
Genie's draw well....I guess doesn't matter really with how she's playing, but relatively speaking not bad. Qualifier in the 1st round, possibly Madison Keys in 3rd round. Getting to the 3rd round would be a decent run. Kvitova possibly in the quarters.

Milos is on TSN5. Looking good so far. Won the first set 6-2.

Milos was cruising but now things will be more difficult after losing the 3rd set.

Nice to see Milos avoid a 5th and deciding set - Got through and in just a little over 2 hours.

Epic old man battle going on between 36 year old Lleyton Hewitt and 33 year old Jarkko Nieminen. Both playing their last Wimbledon, all tied up 9-9 in the 5th set.

Hewitt is out, and today is apparently double bagel day as Venus and Andrea Petkovic both get the double bagel wins

you should have to return your prize money if you get double bageled.

Vasek is in the 4th set serving to stay in the match. Genie in a tiebreaker against a qualifier...

don't worry, after dropping that breaker I'm sure she'll roar back to bagel Duan in the 2nd, and then get bageled herself for the 3rd. it'll be a classic 2015 Genie match.

Genie gets a code violation for having a black bra on lol. I mean she's really terrible right now playing but she also is having everything go against her too. Bad times for her. She also will fall to outside the top 20 which is probably still too high right now. She's not a top 50 player at this point.

Yeah the umpire makes the call there. Just a warning but sort of shows how she basically cannot do anything right at the moment.
Thankfully something good at least, Vasek forces a 5th set.

And Genie's finished. Nothing to say other than this: The player she just lost to hasn't beaten a single player ranked in the top 120 this year until now obviously. I really cannot remember a more incredible collapse after only 1 year. After Wimbledon she seemed likely to be a top 10 player for a while. After today she may never see the top 20 again.
