Looks like Chelsea will be going through on away goals.

Too bad BVB was so depleted due to injuries, but they gave it a solid go

BvB really need some money. They've got a great team and a great manager but just not enough squad depth to handle all of the competitions and injuries.
And to clarify: They've got to stop taking the money from Bayern. Thats not working out well.

Absolutely. I'd take a healthy Dortmund squad over any team in the world (or wouldn't bet against them) but they're not deep enough to compete in 3 competitions.

And they are fun as all hell to watch. They have to be the most entertaining team in the Klopp.

it's going to be tough for them though
Lewe gone this year, most people think Reus is gone this summer or next
I can't imagine Klopp is there much longer

I want Klopp to take over the German National squad. Easily my favourite manager out there.
I've got an awful gut feeling that United does the improbable and wins. Bayern has been playing their worst football of the season the last few weeks.
Hopefully I'm wrong United needs to score so they'll be unable to play a 10 man backline again

I guess we'll have to see. I think Klopp is pretty committed, but BvB have to return the favour with some money for players.

I personally want Klopp to stay right where he is. Low is doing great with Germany.
United can win, Bayern havent been playing well, but that loss at Augsburg was more or less Bayern's second 11. I also think a lot of Bayern's struggles come from the fact that Pep just plays people wherever he feels like instead of in their positions, I dont know what he was thinking starting that group in Manchester.
Bayern will likely play with their proper back four today and likely start Mandzukic instead of Muller (which they should have done last time). They can live without Thiago, Schweinsteiger and Martinez for one match.

I meant to say that if Klopp leaves I would rather he go to the national team than anywhere else.
I'm hoping to see:
Mandzukic
Ribery-Gotze-Muller-Robben
Kroos
Alaba-Dante-Boateng-Lahm
Neuer
Or something to that effect. Leave Lahm at RB, I think he's a greater weapon there than in CDM

Someone has to protect the back 4 and I think thats going to be Lahm.

I think Kroos has it within himself to play that role, and play it very well

I just dont think you can ask Kroos to be the Attacking mid, the defensive mid and the playmaker all in one.
I think Bayern will get by, but they are seriously weak in the middle with the lack of their defensive and playmaking midfielders in Thiago, Martinez and Schweinsteiger.

You get your wish, thats how it seems they're lining up. Very aggressive.
Much better than the lineup in Manchester, I'm pretty happy with this one. If United park the bus their back 4 are going to be hard pressed to deal with all of Robben/Ribery/Gotze/Muller/Mandzukic and Kroos attacking them.

Given who is available for the match I think it is the best lineup Bayern can put together

they probably lose 3-0 or something
but I kind of like United here today with that lineup, they are set up to counter and that Bayern front 5 aren't full of players who like to track back

I think Bayern is going to try and get up a couple goals and then will bring Rafhina in and move Lahm to the midfield to give it some extra stability
