Far as I know he's healthy, so I believe benched. Ward has been playing around with the forward lines lately and there were a few healthy scratches last weekend to tweak some lines. He'll probably be back in this weekend.

So, in the opinion of the guys who watch the Heat regularly. Is Knight ready for a shot at the NHL? I have an unhealthy fixation with this guy being Joel Otto 2.0.

I could see him getting a look sometime this year. His last two games have been pretty good and Conroy was speaking highly of him at the Flames Fest, so I think he is on the Flames radar as a potential call up. I'm not sure if he would stick with the team, but I do think he would be a first or second choice for a callup if a forward position opens up.

(Damn early start times and traffic jams!)
End of 1st Period and it's tied 1-1.
Abbotsford opened the scoring with a goal from Max "Power" Reinhart. Assists to Ben Street and Brayden Lamb.
Utica countered less then 2 minutes later with a goal from Zach Hamill.
Joni Ortio is starting in net tonight for Abbotsford.
Shots are 9-7 Abbotsford.

Good to see that Max has been finding the scoresheet on a regular basis. 7 points in 11 games is a great step forward (he had 21 in 67 last season).
