Fair enough, the Blue Jackets are a superior franchise.

It's so pathetic to watch, just not emotion at all. This team is the saddest version of the Flames I've ever watched. And I became a real fan (old enough to actually really care about the games) back in 1996 right before the dark ages began.

Should Hartley remain the coach of this team? Does anyone know if teams that have had successful one year turnarounds hired new coaches for the following season?

A month ago, I wouldn't have even considered agreeing with that statement.
Recent events and ineptitudes have really changed my mind. The idiocy and stubbornness concerning the O'Reilly incident almost makes me shake my head clean off my shoulders.

I really hope someone in the media after the game asks Hartley why he decided to keep Kipper in for the 3rd period. Should be an interesting answer.

What does this even mean? People can have different opinions. (not saying I agree though).

I think Kipper is gone soon.
Big changes this weekend. Why wait til the deadline? Each of the good players with NMCs likely has a short list of teams. Those teams, if interested, would probably like to maximize their time to acclimate the new players.

Post game comments:
Soft voice Iggy: "It wasn't good enough. This one stings we need to be better, we know where we stand, we realize we're running out of time."
Coach Never gets upset Hartley: "We need to be better defensively, it's the same story we need to play 60 minutes."

The revolving door with the coaches has to stop. Scotty Bowman in his prime could not get this sad sack of crap on the ice to be winners.

No. He does not have the room. He is a softer Keenan, in other words a 90's coach.
This team needs a system guy. And that coach needs players that will commit to a team game.

This is getting ridiculous.
I realize nobody is happy about the situation, but did you really just say this about a team that has made the playoffs as on organization a total of one time in their existence?
How many people were praising the Jackets last year?
Things can change. We don't need to go overboard like this as a fan base.
So the Blue Jackets change their President and GM, and suddenly they are a better franchise than the Flames?
