This is insane. I left to go for dinner, came back and this game is still on?? It was 2-0 Canada when I left, Can't believe it's been this crazy.

What a crazy rally just now to put Canada adv in game 25 of the 5th set.

This is so huge for Tennis in Canada. They better pack that arena tomorrow for Raonic's match!

Pospisil played out of his mind. Hope it's a career changing weekend for him.

Better be jammed tomorrow...can't believe how many empty seats there were for the biggest tennis match ever played in Canada tonight, given Milos plays tomorrow and this was the key match.

Nestor a pure pro...no excessive celebration, and after the win, more talking to Popisil then celebrating himself.

Daniel Nestor has been a terrific servant for Tennis Canada. He's a really nice guy to boot. I had the pleasure of meeting him after he lost to Todd Martin in the Men's Singles Tournament at Wimbledon in 1995. Top guy.

It is unfortunate that now he's in the twilight of his doubles career, Canada finally gets a top singles player. What an opportunity for Tennis Canada - the Davis Cup semi finals! I can't believe that this is even a possibility, but it is and what a wonderful opportunity.

I sure hope that the venue at UBC is absolutely heaving with people and the atmosphere electric. Not usually a fan of jingoistic behaviour, I'll be in full flag-waving mode on Sunday.

Pretty sure it'll be packed. People just don't like doubles so the place was half empty.

In European Action... Russia lost to these guys!?

http://www.daviscup.com/en/draws-res...ieId=100019515

That puts GB into the September playoffs.. wonder if Murray will come back for that!

Edit: Murray will play in September. I'd like to see GB draw Switzerland! Murray vs Federer at Wimbledon again?

Djokovic badly twisted his ankle in the 1st set but then went on to win that set. However Queerey has won the 2nd set. Djokovic struggling.

Could be some more drama in Boise.

Serbia moves on.

They'll play either Canada or Italy.

Yeah so much for that! Djokovic on a bum ankle wins the 3rd and 3th sets 6-1, 6-0!

Canada has two chances now to set up a date with Serbia in September!

GO CANADA!
