Okey, but acknowledge three things... 1: Dan's gameplay while flashy has not been superb, he's had to call audibles all season. 2: Reality juries rarely vote for just big pure game moves case in point R. Hantz backstabbing people has a price. 3: The jury doesn't see what the camera's do, they see only bits and pieces of what we see in edited form.

On the show... Now THAT'S good entertainment! Danielle's slack jaw was epic huge. I gotta admit though I felt kinda bad about Shane at the end. Hate to see a grown man cry... he held it in but just barely.

Although he could have gone home anytime after Week 1 since he only had Danielle. Pretty impressive that it's just been him and Danielle since then and they're both still standing. They've essentially outlasted 13 other houseguests.

Sure but it's still not the same. Dan is a former winner, Danielle was a nobody at that point... not the same threat level. Dr. Will is still better when he stabbed you he left you with a smile on your face, Dan leaves you with tears. Dan's such a smarmy ass I really hope Ian takes the last HoH, respect Dan I may, want him to win I do not, I'll cheer for him over crazy but I'll feel dirty doing it.

LOL that was one of the best episodes ever. I'm not a Dan fan but I just can't pull myself to cheering on stupid people and Danielle and Shane are two of the dumbest contestants ever. I would like to see a Dan vs Ian final as at least Ian has some smarts and might be able to give Dan a run but if I was on the jury I would have to give Dan my vote. This was one of the weakest groups ever in the house outside of the coaches with some of the dumbest players in the history of the game but you can't fault Dan for that and he took full advantage of weak players.

I don't feel sorry for him. The guy was a terrible player. He won some competitions but he never made a big move and just kind of floated in the back with his alliance. Rather than fight tooth an nail to ensure Danielle didn't use the veto on Dan he just coasted like he did the whole game and put his fate in the hands of someone else thinking other people were going to continue to bring him along. That's poor gameplay.

Dr. Will also played against terrible terrible players his first season. Not to take anything away from his amazing play but that house would make Danielle and Shane look like masterminds. And in large part that was because it was so new, would be like comparing modern age goalies to the those of the 40's.
His second season he did play against experienced players but that also meant there was other targets. Dan, despite what Boogie may laughably think, was clearly the best player to enter the house and should have been the number 1 target all season and despite that still has made it this far. And most importantly Dr. Will didn't win his second season, if Dan does how can you argue against him being at least Dr. Will's level? And if Dr. Will gets credit for Boogie, Dan certainly has to get it for Danielle and Ian.
Also I didn't really like Shane at the beginning but I thought he ended up being a pretty classy guy, was obviously pissed at Dan but only called him out for being dirty which no one would denied, could see a lot of other players attacking him far more personally if they were in Shane's position.
EDIT: Saw on Reddit, pretty accurate.

I don't think the players in Will's first season were any worse than this current season. But they also didn't have the advantage that this season's players had of seeing previous seasons and being able to understand how the game was played.

Some say that Will only went back into the house a second time to help his friend Boogie win. If that was his goal, and it would make sense since Will could have thrown Boogie under the bus to win All-Stars, then that's much different from Dan getting credit for two players he didn't know until he entered the house.
I think the reason I find it so hard to put Dan ahead of Will is that Will is so articulate and well spoken while Dan is rather mumble-mouthed.

I feel sorry for him because he seems like a really decent guy. He cries pretty easily too, which always gets me.
I actually think Danielle deserves to win, but she annoys me so much that I hope she doesn't.
Go Dan.

I can't cheer on a girl that wears an inch of makeup to deceive men into thinking she's attractive. That and the fact she let Dan manipulate her week to week putting her on the block, hurting her feelings, breaking promises, etc all while foolishly thinking he was doing it in her best interests. Ian is a good kid but I just don't believe his body of work this season is worth of $500k. It has to be Dan.

Let's not make more out of Dan's body of work then it is. It's not like anything has really gone according to his plan (at least as I suspect it to be) this season. Seems to me that his plan was basically...
Form alliance amoungst the other Coaches: Error
Audible: Form Alliance with Boogie and Co.: Error
Audible: Promise everybody and take my pawn and two Goats to F4: Error
Audible: Eff it! I'll just go with anyone who'll make me their F2
He rolls with the hits well but his body of work basically consists of promising everything to everyone... not hard to do. He's great at convincing people to do things (Or as Britney named it "The Mist"). But like he said last night "I'm up to my elbows in blood" S10 he was great at deflecting blood but this year it's all sticking to him. His game is more entertaining then it was S10 but not nearly as good.
Here's the thing I don't see 4 votes for Dan on that Jury. Frank and Shane are going to be very bitter anti-Dan jurers... that doesn't leave a lot of room for error.

I don't pay too much attention to the votes until they happen as I've seen too many voters do the exact opposite of what you would expect. I don't think he will have any problems getting votes.
Dan isn't a perfect player as he's below average when it comes to competitions and rarely wins when he tries but you can't argue about his accomplishments and as far as I'm concerned he's in the final three so the game has gone exactly as planned for him.
I don't particularily like the person as he's a remorseless guy that seems to genuinely not care about other players feelings like the mental anguish he inflicts on Danielle for instance. He's one of the few players of the game that I really wouldn't care to have a beer with.

Oh yeah, Dan's a complete dick... he's the kind of guy I would never associate with in real life unless it wasn't by choice. He makes for good TV though and that's all I really care about... and as a TV character I want relative good to triumph over relative evil so basically I want Ian to win, if not Ian then Dan, if not Dan then Danielle. Crazy in no way shape or form should win this game... not over the other two.
Edit: Looks like HoH Part II is going on right now. If Ian wins I wonder if Spoiler space:Dan will throw part III to avoid Danielle blood being on his hands.

It's just a game. I bet if you met him without ever watching BB14 he would be normal person. Of course that's just a guess, but it seems to be that he completely compartmentalizes the house as not being part of real life at all.
year after year you get a handful of these house guests who can't do that and get run over. The point of the game is to trick people, it would be ridiculously hard to win by never lying and screwing people over.

the thing that hurts him too
Shane said he's a dirty player and the crowd cheered, I would say it's pretty likely when he is recounting his eviction to the rest of the jury he lets them know that part
and this group just doesn't seem like the type (outside Britney) to vote based on game play, it's going to be all emotion
Like I said earlier, he's playing the Russell Survivor game, doing what is necessary to get to the end and extremely entertaining, but just too much blood for a new group to award the winner

At this point my guess is
Dan/Ian F2
Britney - Ian
Shane - Ian
Frank - Ian
Ashley - Ian
Jenn - Dan
Joe - Dan
Danielle - Dan (this would depend on what happens though, if Dan evicts her no chance she votes for him)
Dan/Danielle
Britney - Dan
Shane - Danielle
Frank - Danielle
Ashley - Danielle
Jenn - Danielle
Joe - Dan
Ian - Dan
Ian/Danielle
Britney - Ian
Shane - Danielle
Frank - Ian
Ashley - Ian
Jenn - Danielle
Joe - Ian
Dan - Ian

I understand where the sentiment is coming from but there's still a significant difference between Dan's play and Russell's. Dan, as far as I'm aware, doesn't or hasn't insulted people on a personal level nor has he ever been in yelling matches or gone out of his way to make people feel like #### outside of actually blindsiding them for strategic reasons. Really, as far as I recall, the worst thing he has said about anyone in the game was to Danielle which was completely fake and still not personal and that's saying something when you live in a house for over 2 months with "enemies."
Still, yep I agree there's too many emotional jurors. If Boogie was in there instead of Ashley I'm sure he would have convinced Frank that he's a big baby and to vote Dan but the fact he's not is a misstep by Dan.
I think his best bet at winning is Ian winning HoH and staying true to his Final 2 with Dan. Danielle could cool down Shane while Britney clearly respects Dan's game and maybe a longshot but it was Ian who sent Ashley packing (though I doubt she realizes...well anything).

You think a big-time huge-move-making player like Jenn wouldn't respect Dan's game enough to throw him a vote? I don't know, I could see her voting for Dan in that scenario but I don't know her relationship with Danielle very well.
