If you moved to Dallas you'd stop cheering for the Flames?

When I actually move to Dallas or Vancouver, I'll let you know. For now, I CHOOSE to live in Calgary, have a GREAT job, and I support the HOMETOWN teams instead of cheering against them.

What about cheering for an international soccer team? Be it Man U or a national team like England. There are local trams to cheer for. Or what about cheering for the blue jays or raptors or TFC?
How can you even watch the NFL? We have our own league. Don't be a traitor and watch sports based in cities other than Calgary.
You shouldn't even be cheering for the okotoks dawgs. We have the vipers.
Also I was a kid when I moved here. For my first 15 years living here wasn't a choice.
Even now, how ######ed would it be to quit my job, sell my condo, end all my friendships and move away from my family...
All so that I don't offend the delicate sensibilities of the hometown fans of the city that I live in? Riiiiiiiiight.

This Ti-Cats, Alouettes game is turning into a good one. Calvillo looks off his game though it is fairly early.

Correct.
My support of the Seattle Seahawks will end when the Stampeders join the NFL. My support of the Boston Red Sox will end when MLB announces an expansion team for Calgary. I will cheer for Canada's national men's soccer team when they play Germany in the World Cup. Any other questions?

It would be smarter than cheering for the Priders.

A very entertaining first half in the Hammer. 27-13 Ti-Cats. Jamal Richardson has 153 yards receiving at the half.

Crazy turnover then 3 stops at the 1 by the Ticats. Huge momentum shifts right before half.

Calvillo injured. At this stage in his career a shoulder injury could be career ending.

What an absolute horsecrap call in the Hamilton-Montreal game.
If that is what the refs are going to call you might as well say no touching the QB's.

I'm glad to see Montreal getting so many penalties. They are by far the dirtiest team in the league.

The roughing the QB a second ago maybe, although I still disagree, but there's no way that the most recent one wasn't a penalty. That was just vicious. Dude jumped on Glenn's head, and Glenn was standing up!

Cox penalty was an okay call, but I was talking about the Bekasiak call which was complete crap.
Bekasiak had Glenn wrapped up and then Glenn tossed it. What was Bekasiak supposed to do? Stop himself midway through falling to the ground and put the little sissy Glenn down on a nice pillow-top mattress?

First big hit of the Labour Day classic? #Esks bus got sideswiped outside the hotel! Was Burris driving the other vehicle?? #CFL #FB

Must have been the drivers down in Calgary.
From bad to worse. Oh well, hockey season is starting soon so I'm not even mad. That being said, I expect the Esks to be crushed today.

Loved seeing #swaggerville getting their asses whooped last night. Championships aren't won on Labour day. As much as I love seeing the Stamps lose, I'm glad they shut up the Bombers.

Argos release Cleo Lemon as per TSN text.
He had some good games but was usually a sub average QB.

Wasn't the drop dead date for guaranteed money just prior to labour day? Or is it this week?
Just seems weird to wait. I know the Riders made a few huge mistakes last year and didn't release guys until their contracts counted against the cap and it caused them to go over the salary cap.

Suck, get pulled, pout on the sidelines, get cut, career over.
Good job, Cleo.

TO hadn't had a decent QB since Allen left, and then the favorites that Rita played of the 6 or 7 years he was there, left the team in shambles with no direction or stability at that position, let alone the rest of them.
I am sure next year they'll take a run at some current backup like Tate or the like, and rush them into the starting role too early, and ruin them.

I'm fairly certain that had Ray not restructured his contract with the Esks that Tillman would have sent him to the Argos.
