Also check this out happening at 13:00. Pretty cool event, Chisasibi Curling Classic. Métis and Indigenous curlers including Einarson and the Koe’s have gathered to play in the Cree Nation of Chisasibi.

Announced today. As many suspected, Chelsey Carey is taking over the Jennifer Jones team.

Will be interesting how Bottcher handles being second, but I guess if Birchard and the rest of Einarson's team can do it, so can he.

As it stands I think EJ is the superior second but I guess we'll see.

EJ is probably among the best sweepers in the world. They will definitely miss that aspect of his game.

Bottcher is a heck of a curler. As a second, he’ll likely be throwing a lot more up weight hits/doubles so that will be an adjustment for him. He’s not my favourite personality though and it will be interesting to see how their egos fit together.

It's crazy what the Olympics has done to curling. Residency rules being challenged, super teams being built. Serious business now.

I was banging this drum last year during the Scotties/Brier, but I'd be fine with doing away with provincial requirements for teams. We've already got skips jumping around provinces (Jacobs, Dunstone and McEwen immediately come to mind) and we have wild card teams to make sure the best teams are all there. We might as well just have best-on-best like other countries do.
