Looks to be so.
I'm ok with that, to be honest. He played a ton of football last season between all club/international competitions. Expectations are (too?) high for Wilshere, having Ramsey feature this year will relieve some of that pressure when he comes back. Providing they aren't relegated, of course...

Titus Bramble's been arrested. Presumably for impersonating a Premier League footballer for years, but there may be other reasons...

sportsbooks in the uk say this weekend is the first time in about 20 years that Spurs are favored in a competitive match (a league game, or a cup semi-final or final) against Arsenal

As much as I think spurs should win, that right there makes me think Arsenal will somehow win as losing when favored is the spurs way.

De Gea Warned:
Quote:
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has found himself in a sticky situation after being warned for allegedly eating a Krispy Kreme doughnut at a local shop without paying for it.
De Gea, who joined United this summer from Atletico Madrid, earns around £70,000-a-week but apparently decided that he wasn't willing to shell out £1.19 for the sugary treat and, according to the Sun, ate it in store, before attempting to leave.

Maybe he got the free donut while in line and then bailed deciding he didn't want anymore.

fantastic result
didn't like Harrys starting 11 because Arsenal had 3 in midfield to only 2 for Spurs, they had more of the ball but didn't create much with it, once Sandro came in he solidified things
can't blame Szczesn for that goal either, took a wicked swerve like 5 yards in front of him
if they win the game in hand at home against nEverton they are 1 point behind Chelsea in 4th and all ready having played 4/5 other top 6.

You guys played well and had enough to get the job done; fair play and well done. I too was very surprised with Harry's midfield selection, it helped give the Arsenal a chance. However, it was chance left begging as we made too many simple mistakes and simply weren't good enough. It's frustrating but I don't think a team "in crisis" would have been able to get this kind of result against a solid looking Spurs.

Sounds like Sagna has a broken ankle as well, kind of a freak play with it getting caught there
that could be major problems because once Jenkinson came in Spurs tactics just became give Bale the ball and every time they did it resulted in a should be goal

TBH, I was surprised by how flat Spurs were. This was a real opportunity to really embarrass a team that is at rock bottom. Arsenal were better than expected, Spurs worse and it took about 20 Ramsey giveaways and a howler by Chesney for Arsenal to lose.
Pity because had Arsenal got a result, it would have been the shot in the arm the team needs.

£1.19 for one doughnut? Isn't that about $2.50 CDN, for one doughnut?

It's a buck sixty to the pound now - has been as bad as 1.50 recently.
Gone are the days I used to fly out to Calgary with an empty suitcase.
