I wanna see Fraser get 45 in place of Kaye and see what he can do. He’s the only Euro based guy there so he must be there for a reason.
I don’t think Edwards was ever on the plane and that half definitely didn’t help his case. Laryea will be the cover on the left side

I think Edwards has played his way out of the World Cup squad today, if he was on it to begin with. I'd like to see Herdman bring on Choiniere.
Waterman isn't helping his case but he may be there anyways if Henry is out.
Kaye and Cavallini were both going and still will be going but neither of them should see the pitch.

KJ was impressed with Waterman (primarily on the ball) but I’m with you Sherm. He wasn’t great.
I think he’s there even if Henry goes. And Cornelius who is the direct Kennedy replacement.

Can men's twitter did confirm that waterman is the sub for Henry. So not sure if je really was getting a serious look or not.
Still, good to see him get some game minutes.

I’ve got no doubt Waterman will be a big piece of this team over the next 2-5 years. Just needs to get used to the international level

Agreed. He'll be there for Gold Cup for sure. This isn't the right time to tweak the squad though, injuries not withstanding.

Yep. If he goes he’s the 25th or 26th guy on the bench and only sees the field in event of disaster
St Clair looks good

Down 2-1 to Bahrain. They are a decent team historically despite not having made the World Cup.

They’re a decent side. Look at their last 5-6 games. Some decent results, including beating Iran. Considering what our squad is like today, it’s really not that surprising…

I’m obviously biased, but that looked like a super soft penalty?

Eh. If we can't beat these guys (ranked 85) with our B team then I have concerns.

Bright spot of today's game, two CPL alumni making their national team debuts. Further proof that the league is doing good things for the game in this country.

Two CPL players getting MNT time in waterman and McNaughton.
You can't help but smile at how the CPL has played into today's roster.

Happy that's out of the way. Hopefully injuries not serious. Not pretty but much needed game play.

Doesn’t inspire confidence, but it’s not a full strength roster so it can be explained away. Still woulda felt better with a convincing win.

Overreaction in here. Likely only 4-5 of the starters today will start in the WC.
Not to mention, Canada is not one to boast about its depth. We're in a golden era with some top quality players in Davies, David, Eustaquio, Buchanan etc. Those guys need to be in our lineup, as there's a steep drop after that. They make a massive difference.

Waterman showed he's not quite ready for the level.

Stefan Mitrovic didn't make Serbia's World Cup roster. Rough week for dual nationals who chose to play for other countries...
