Every team does, I'm not disputing that. But all I was saying was they've struggled for years in the past, and they've had struggles recently at the worst time. Hopefully not a regression at a bad time.

It's not doom gloom at all. Read the history. I actually think they'll fare well against the Yanks/Sox.


Anyway, Yesavage is killing it again. If they don't have him as a starter in the playoffs I'll be disappointed.

I agree, and sorry for seeming to single you out. There's just kind of a dark vibe around here, and as a Jays/Flames fan in the US for almost 30 years this is my outlet to find people who care about the team.

I don't find it a dark vibe at all. Losing 4 in a row to teams they should have beat, and scoring a combined 3 runs in those games, is an issue. Fans should be concerned about that this time of year. No singling out, all good.

Yesavge getting squeezed by the ump is hurting him, he’s had a number of strikes get called balls so then he has to bite a bigger part of the plate and then they start hitting him.

Then plunk a couple Royals for running up the score Friday, while beating today them I think boots them out of any wildcard hopes, and, as final insult to injury, get their visiting dressing room sticky with champagne.
