Yes it comes from Haitian folklore.
It's still going to raise copyright issues with specific characters though.

I was totally hoping the revolving door was going to wind up with Glen and Noah pushing against Ratface and him slowly losing and getting fed to the walkers. I am sad about the way it went down, especially with Noah looking forward to the new beginning learning architecture. And Gabriel - total turncoat. Satan disguises himself as the angel of light indeed.

Yep, that was a great episode. Two absolutely gruesome deaths. Poor Noah.
Looks like #### is about to really go down in the next episode.

They've got my attention again. Great episode. Lots of storylines and character arcs to wrap up in the last two episodes. Can't wait.

Good episode. It's weird how they decided to turn up the gore especially on Noah's death as I imagine they wanted to illustrate the horror Glen witnessed. I will say they certainly feels like this this new story is being accelerated some as they are going from being introduced to destroying it in a small handful of episodes.

Good episode, even though I wonder how they made it this long being so inept.
I said awhile back that Rick will have to take out the doctor because he's beating his hairdresser wife, but now I think it's a setup where Rick will think he is with some shaky evidence, and have a gun up to his head, but have a small amount of doubt and not kill him. Then it's proven he's not beating his wife and kid, but is still a dick so he gets eaten by zombies and Rick gets to hook up with the blonde. Also can't believe his kept his wedding ring on this long. I took mine off to go golfing about a year after getting it and have never put it back on. Couldnt see myself wearing one in a zombie apocalypse.
Hilight for me was the line "going to send a fax to Cleveland" never heard this before but I see myself using that line at some point in the future

What did the son say to Glen right before he was pulled away by Noah? I couldn't make it out.
Also, why not shoot him to put him out of his misery?

Great question, I couldn't hear either.
Re: shooting Noah, Glenn had already said he was out of bullets, buddy that took off had them in his pack. Remember he tried to buttstroke is way through the glass instead of shooting it.

I believe he said something along the lines "We panicked, not them." It was in reference to a previous episode when Glenn asked why the previous people in the Alexandria foraging group had died. He originally said they had panicked and that had got them killed.

I believe sureloss is correct. They further illustrated the point at the construction site when the Alexandrians abandoned whatshername when she fell out of the bucket of the front loader. It's Alexandrian policy to abandon those who fall behind.
Maybe that is the biggest reason Deanna insists on having Rick's group because Aaron must've scouted them saving each other instead of abandoning each other.
PS: I thought it was lame that aiden didn't die immediately. I mean like COME ON! Look how close he was to the blast. But he died anyway I guess, so all is well.

I think him not dying right away was used to show (again) what a coward Nicolas was. He said he checked Aiden's vitals and that he was dead and they should leave him.

@Hockeyguy True, I get it. I just didn't like it.
I think the show is done very well and the zombie universe is fairly consistent. Just some of the pet peeves I have with the show sometimes are things like that. A grenade blast that close would blow a guy to pieces, never mind just ending his life.
Also, no kick back. Grinds my gears haha. People are shooting all sorts of high powered guns and no kick back whatsoever. Even a .22 has some kick back!

The bigger issue I had was with the size of the grenade explosion.........grenades do not cause that type of damage nor to they pack that type of punch.
Also, the never ending magazine on Big Red's M16.......

Grenades do not have a lot of explosives in them. Their damage is done via shrapnel.

I liked how this episode developed Eugene a bit. No longer as useless and deranged as he once was.
What is Gabriel's motivation for talking smack about Rick and crew?
Self preservation?
Should be a good finish leading up to the season finale.

I think he really believes what he said. Goes back to what happened in the church. He thinks they are evil.
