The league investigating - it is useless. Warrener was talking about it. What can the league really do in their investigation. Interview Kane? I don't think there should be LTIR at all. Raise the salary cap by 10 mil, teams have to sign enough players to account for injuries. A team's two 10mil/year guys get hurt? Part of the game. Send them for surgery only when needed, and do so ASAP, so they can get back in the lineup. None of this strategically times elective surgery business.
Owners won't like it, gm's won't like it, players won't like it, but fans would. That's how we know it won't happen.

I'm saying it here. With all of the turmoil happening, I'm betting that Draisaitl doesn't sign before the deadline. That the Oilers locker room will be split, and that Their old ass lineup is going to regress.
The Oilers will be the leagues big disappointment story this year and miss the playoffs by a lot.
