I've got it now! People who bought Goth clothing in the 90s now have a surplus, so they've invested in a Crow re-make to bring 'Goth' back so they can sell their old 90s Goth apparel!
Its a giant conspiracy!!
...yet somehow they forgot to make the Crow gothic. How do you remake Crow and forget to make it gothic?
They just fundamentally misunderstood the assignment.
Male revenge fantasy movies do great (4 John Wicks, 3 Denzel Equalizers, those 8 Liam Neeson movies etc). Does this movie need to be remade? Nah. But then Hollywood is a money machine and these types of things scratch a machismo itch better than most.

With Crow you could have easily made it a female revenge fantasy. Heck, make it a "girl revenges girl" story to stand out, fill the time between action scenes with hot goth chicks partying and making out (and obviously with promises of eternal love too), laugh your way to the bank while the internet fights over whether it's a conservative or liberal movie

I must have zero desire for revenge because those 3 franchises are what I consider among the worst films ever, they're just so boring.
Any one post the Twister sequel trailer, Twisters?
The original is a classic for me. I hope they don't butcher the new one. Not sure what to make of this new cast though. The tech guy and the girl look like they're supposed to be imitations of Seymour-Hoffman and Hunt.

This looks like a half-assed re-make at best.
Honestly. Its like some studio exec said..."That movie did well and we have better special effects now than we had in 1996. Do it again!"

It was funny seeing that trailer for the first time and not being sure if it was a remake or a sequel. I’m this case it might be a bit of both. Because it sure looks to me like it’s a carbon copy of the first one.
There aren't drones or some #### that can deploy the sensors now? I guess it would defeat the purpose of them driving into the tornadoes and you wouldn't have a very fun movie. I'll just try not to think that hard as usual with these movies.
