Maybe the FBI records vault Twitter account just wanted to up their followers. Basically tripled in one day from around 8,000 to 23,000.

For those us who don't use twitter, can you summarize? Or possible provide context or links?
I don't mean to jump on you about this, but posts like this drive me up the wall. They're like the guy who looks out his window and posts about a hot brunette just walked by, but leaves you hanging with nothing. No description, no pics, no video, just an annoying "boy, did you miss that!"

Not sure but I'm pretty sure Biden would have run if not for his son's death. That brought with it some other priorities for him. Which is too bad. For all the gaffs, he has public service in his heart and simply wants to help people. This isn't a guy who has gotten rich as some fat cat politician (Obama even offered to step in to say he'd support them financially through his son's treatment if necessary because he didn't want Joe and his wife selling their house to pay).
If he ran he wins the nomination and the election in a landslide (my opinion).
Still has one of the best lines ever when talking about Giuliani: "There's only three things he mentions in a sentence: A noun, a verb and 9/11. There is nothing else."

I was surprised he didn't run. It's too bad. This election would essentially be over by now. From what I know about him, he's relatively baggage-free. Trump wouldn't stand a chance.

It would have been glorious, but his son's death seemed to take a lot out of him. Obviously.

What an indication of the disaster that is the US Healthcare system when the freaking Vice President needs assistance paying for his son's cancer treatment.

He had the plagiarism issue(seems like a small thing compared to this years candidates), that already knocked him out of two campaigns. Also I am pretty sure he was either payed off(job promise) or muscled out of running against Hilary.

Biden would have easily won. I don't consider him baggage free. I still kind of have a grudge against him for letting someone who should have been convicted of sexual harassment be confirmed to the Supreme Court.

I don't believe he was paid off or muscled out. I think he was 100% honest with his reasons on why he didn't run. His son's illness and death hit him hard.
He certainly has some skeletons in his closet but they are pretty damn minor in the grand scheme of things. The major plagiarism controversy came about as in previous versions he had credited the original speech but the one that got recorded and distributed to reporters failed to have the proper credits put in. I have no doubt that with the full DNC machine behind him these things wouldn't hurt him in this election.
