Easy tiger, that's why I asked potentially. I'm curious to see if we happen to make a move to take Ekblad, who might be on the radar next year at the centre position. For the record, I'm not suggesting we do this, rather, asking if we go with a defensemen with our first pick this year, who might be available as a centre next draft. With all the talk about the top end of the draft next year being so noteworthy, I'm just asking who some of those names are.

It's really not the point, and I'm not certain why you're being so up tight about a very simple question. The fact of the matter is we might very well take a defenseman with our first pick this year because we believe he's the best player available.

If we happen to do this, we could still use another top centre prospect and since we're unlikely to find one in the 2nd+ round this year, I'm asking a very simple and innocent question about the centre prospects next year (because I don't know much about them).

In no way was I posing a leading loaded question suggesting we do something this year that hinges on next year. It's a simple and valid question... if somehow some way we go D with the first pick this year, what potential centres could be available next year? I was only asking that, and will take a look at the name you suggested, because I haven't read up on them yet. Thanks for the info, and have a chill pill.

Did he not give you some of center prospects in his first post? Seems silly to spaz out on the one poster who was decent enough to come in and answer your question.

You seem to making a mountain out of a mole hill. Sureloss answered your question and even added in potential D prospects. There really was no need to be condescending calling someone "tiger" and suggesting they're uptight and to take a chill pill...

I appreciate Sureloss's news in a big way, but I asked a very simple question and he spazzed a few times, and then edited his posts after. Just calls it as I sees it. It was a simple question that he pretty much scoffed at me for asking until he caught the gist of what I was getting at. No need for mouseketeers to gang up on me.

And call me sweetheart all you want sureloss, tit for tat is fine with me.

How about we both just stop with the pet names and show some respect to the posters on this board.

I'm all for that. The same goes for immediately labeling someone's question as foolishness before you understand what they're asking. Not sure what's with you tonight, but all I ever wanted to do was discuss next year's centre depth before you got incredibly passive-aggressive with the post editing etc.

Can we just move on?

Did I say your question was foolish? Because all I said was about basing strategy on next year's draft because it's come up in this thread multiple times and again came up in the trade speculation today.

And please don't use this overly familiar term "whats with you tonight" as if you know me.

You certainly insinuated it, because it seems you thought it was a loaded question akin to that sentiment you mentioned from earlier in the thread and it was not. And you even seemed to acknowledge afterward that you misread what I was getting at . Just seemed like an overreaction as I wasn't trying to re-hash anything from earlier in the thread.
