That second strike call on Kirk was inexcusable. It should be easy to call something that high.

I think the ump got pissy after Kirk gave him the stinkeye after the first strike was called and was way outside.

As visually terrible as Kikuchi has been, White has a significantly higher ERA since he’s joined the Jays. I’m not sure what option exists. Maybe option White to triple A and bring up Merryweather and Thornton and maybe go with a bullpen game? I don’t know.
