The NDP is the one party that actually tells you it’s gonna spend a bunch of money and spend it on services that make life easier for actual people.

The other two just lie about how much they’re going to spend and throw it at friends or corporations. But “uhh god I can’t vote for NDP they’re socialists I’m a voter with no home I’m on an island blah blah.”

90% of Liberal and Conservatives votes happened based on people’s long-held perception of the nature of what these parties are supposed to be. The money gets spent all the same there’s just less of it in both cases that goes back in your pocket. Seems smart anyway.

Yeah, it's really somewhat laughable. They have this far-right meeting and it's such a simple position to take a hardline and quell the issue. Instead, they let it fester and next election they'll have no idea how they can't win the 905 belt and blame Ontario voters.

If things continue on like this I will put my vote to the NDP. I get a much more community-caring and people-first vibe from them than the other two anyways.

I highly doubt that, the person that said politics is like blindly sport team cheering now nailed it on the head.

Maybe a nice injection of integrity would fix that up?

Mulcair’s perspective.

Interesting quote.

“ A revised electoral map will soon be adopted and it provides for the creation of new ridings, including several in Alberta. Those are expected to go to the Conservatives. However, if Trudeau calls the election less than seven months after the adoption of the new map, it’s the old electoral map that will still apply in the next election. That math is tempting for the Big Red Machine. ”

But then they wouldn't have a leader.

The Cons have nazi sympathizers. The Lib leader hangs out with Nazi's and terrorists, and won't make mp's with ethical violators face any party dicipline action, and are involved in what is possibly a cover up over Chinese election interference with the latest.

The NDP don't have a platform that I can get behind, and a leader that has sold his soul for power and is a step behind the Liberals.

This is the fault of Canadians who just go on cruise control and don't hold any parties to account.

The three main parties are garbage run by incompetent and corrupt and frankly terrible people.

The complaints against Singh are pretty insignificant. Sold his soul? He negotiated to get what he campaigned on. Good for him, need more like that.

This is where Crunch pretends he isn't going to vote for anyone but ends up voting for the Cons anyways. lol

The CPC probably could have won the last election, had they taken a strong stand on a couple common sense COVID issues. But nope, they had to shoot themselves in the foot instead. How many feet do they have, anyways?

It’s looking like it was their stance on Taiwan that may have did them in.

Except even PP conceded that any interference likely didn't change the outcome.

What really hurt the CPS was their racist bigoted minority rearing their head so that most urban voters can't bring themselves to vote for them.

But of course, you know that.

Well he has most certainly sold his soul if he doesn't bring down this government if they don't have a full public inquiry.

Could be the difference between me voting NDP or not.

Actually, I think it’s the fault of Canadians trying to equate a political party… that made a deal hardly different than what a coalition government would look like (a completely normal and acceptable part of our democracy) to deliver part of it’s platform and deliver on promises to those who voted for them… to two political parties they just accused of being nazi-friendly.

Would the NDP have “sold their soul” if they let the Cons form government, despite them being further away from their platform and letting go of any chance of delivering on it? I’m guessing not for the people that use that line, despite it fitting the bill a whole lot more.

I don’t even see how you can call the three leaders “terrible people,” least of all Singh. Hell, I don’t even see how you could accuse PP or Singh of being as corrupt as Trudeau. And you can call them all incompetent, but one of them is winning elections and one of the ones who isn’t is still managing to deliver parts of his platform. Seems pretty competent to me.

The “I’m on a political island!” whining is so tiresome.

I think the CPS chief has done a great job stamping out all those buzz words.
