It's funny how revisionists try to make it sound like Obama forced the ACA through (and named it "Obamacare" lol), when really, his original plan was amended and highly negotiated before it went through.
It just goes to show how anti-democratic the right is that they hold Obama in such contempt but then praise Trump.

I just watched the clip from the cabinet meeting. It was a marketing event designed to prop Trump up, and had strange parallels to the Apprentice TV show.
This is the most ####ed up administration in history.
Its like they were paying tribute to the King from centuries gone past. Where the currency for tribute is now praise not gold. So strange. And its pretty scary.
I recall watching a show about a doctor who was restoring the sight of people in North Korea. When they took the bandages off and the people could see correctly they all went up to the pictures of Kim Jong Il and thanked their "benevolent leader" for restoring their sight.
I draw so many parallels between North Korea and Trumplandia propaganda. I'm waiting for a press release from Maralago announcing Kim Jong Donald has broken the course record by several strokes. He has to be as good a golfer as Kim Jong Il right? 38 under par here he comes!
ACA had over 100 hearings, went through multiple committees, accepted hundreds of Republican amendments, and set records for the amount of debate. But yeah Obama rammed it through so Republicans can do the same.

And now the Senate Rules Committee (mostly Republicans) just changed the rules forbidding interviews in the debate building without prior written consent.
So basically, we're gonna do this in secret and you can't ask us questions

What a bunch of sleezeballs. They pass widely unpopular policies, then reject townhalls where they can be criticized for it. Now they pull this crap.
GOP voters are insanely stupid to think this type of behaviour is beneficial to them or good for democracy/country.

GOP Senator calls Russia investigation 'overblown' and not something he is even paying attention to
Quote:
(CNN)Republican Sen. Pat Toomey said Tuesday called the investigation into possible collusion between members of Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia "overblown" and said he isn't paying much attention to it.
The conservative message boards have gone all-in on the "Mueller is a swamp-creature" idea. They believe that Comey's testimony that Trump was not under investigation proves there is no basis for the special prosecutor's investigation and that Mueller's appointment of lawyers who have donated to Democrats proves he is partisan and a committed member of the "deep-state" who is only and exclusively out to "get Trump."
They would react positively and supportively to a Saturday Night Massacre II.

Hopefully, Kim-Jung-Trump will listen to his fanbase and fire Mueller.
Please let it be so.
It pretty much does in truth, if any team is saying they haven't decided if they are going the White House but will decide if invited what they are doing is sending Trumpski's minions a clear message not to invite them.
No team in history would ever respond like this if it was a normal White House, not that anyone would even ask them the question, if a reporter did, for some strange reason, under Obama or either Bush, Clinton or Reagan, ask the team 'will you go to the White House?' the teams response would be 'of course! why would you even think to ask that? its a massive honour'
